Send the buggers back to Australia, and that will be the end of it. That is what Labor had been doing to the many other unreported acts of criminality from our new chums.

The one reason they keep coming is that they know their chances are very good of getting here. If they were to be turned back into international waters at entering australian waters then it'll be their undoing will be of their own doing.
If they can fight here then they can fight their oppressors at home.

Paul1405 - Here is a quote for you.

"A spokeswoman for the Nauruan government said police were stood down at 5am on Saturday. She said only 10 asylum seekers had not had any involvement in the riots."

Every one of us has every right to feel as I do about this *ENRAGED*
We however have zero right, as in any criminal matter to take over from authority the roll they, not us play in law enforcement.
I will not prejudge those folk but hold every court to account if one of these now criminals is settled here.

$60,000,000 is about $3 for every Australian and about $10 for every taxpayer. Every Australian should rightly be outraged at this criminal action, and this is just one case.

Hey Belly,

Re: <<if one of these now criminals is settled here.>>

Going on past experience you are going to be disappointed. Our courts have shown a tendency to go easy on such offenders --not wanting to endanger their asylum claims.

All good labor and all good conservatives should stand together on issues like this. The only ones who see such behavior as permissible are the Greens and their fellow travelers, some of whom are already trying to shaft the blame to us for holding the offenders in detention.

Unfortunately the Greens & co have a voice disproportionate to their numbers as they tend to have the backing of groups like the ABC & SBS.
