I don't know how the Lexis can still deny that the majority of asylum seekers are economic. Why would the government finally say so (it's been going on for years)? With all their public resources and they don't think the government would consult the Immigration Department and it's minister and actually look at cases. How dum can you get. The government would never say this if it wasn't true.

I know for a fact that they are lured here for all the free social benefits. I know people in the department and it depresses them. Many applicants still get in through the benefit of the doubt. There are indeed many lies told and encouraged by those with a vested interest which we all pay for in our taxes.
