1 acknowledge there are people who disapprove of him and his program
2 be stung by some of his victims
3 tone down his sexism and misogyny or abandon them altogether
4 tone down his belligerent anti-Labor attacks or abandon them altogether
5 be shifted to a role where he cannot wield his present destructive influence
6 resign or be sacked from 2GB altogether; or
7 have his voice silenced completely.

Objectives 4-7 have nothing to do with his remark, and everything to do with silencing a political opponent.

The ONLY way to exercise one's freedom of speech effectively is to tell ALL advertisers who advertise with Jones, that you won't buy their products and will actively ask all your friends and acquaintances to do the same.

AND .....

That you will monitor the show into the future, and if any advertisers return you will double your efforts against them.

If thousands of people do this .... it's "goodbye Alan Jones".

Alan Jones can't silence people power, can't silence freedom of speech and can't stop freedom of action.

Alan Jones will be the biggest loser from all of this.

The advertisers will find somewhere else to advertise.

Jones is a part owner, does the liberal camp pay Jones for comment.
Abbott and Jones say the same words. The station is there for propaganda. No doubt it is being looked into. Can part owners be dismissed, or is it not ethical to comment on your own private station.
