Anyhow, there is an end of times of some kind happening right now. This has been going on for as long as mankind or those attempting to convince us they're part of it have been around. It's merely the West's turn to go under as did Egypt & Greece & Rome & perhaps Atlantis. Even the Asian region has gone through these cycles (no not the pedal ones). Just look at the amazing structures there from the ancient past. Westerners & that includes all races have begun the decline of their civilisation for about a century now. The next to peak will be the sub continent & China again. It's all so clearly evident.

Although not absolutely true, the trend over the last few millenia ha been for empires to have progressively shorter durations.
Compare Egyptian/Roman/Ottoman/British/American; suggesting that the American empire will be of shorter duration than earlier empires.
On the other hand, given the extent to which nationas are now bound by speed of travel, trade, internet, etc, the chronological boundary points between empires will not be as starkly defined.
A rising Asia will still be dependent upon the US and Europe from a trade point of view. Conversely, US and European investment in Asia will still be enormous, thus transferring some of the spoils of empire back to the "Old empires".
However, these will be geopolitical and economic differentiations, and so quite unrelated to the thread issue of the Judeo-Chrisitan End Times, which, I would posit, can be safely relegated to dusty mythological tomes.
