The extent of the devastation caused by the earthquake and the tsunami created a set of priorities amongst the political hierarchy that didn't extend to satisfying your personal morbid fascination for double-dealing. It was quite possible - even in hindsight - to accept that finding out the "true" situation at any given point of time was extraordinarily difficult, and heavily prone to error.

Thing is, when you start down that path, it leads you quickly into loony-tunes territory:

Sorry Arjay, but when one of the worlds most vocal “greenies”, George Monbiot writes in The Guardian. “As a result of the disaster in Fukushima, I am no longer nuclear-neutral. I now support the technology”.

He goes on to say, “On every measure (climate change, mining impact, local pollution, industrial injury and death, even radioactive discharges) coal is 100 times worse than nuclear”.

As we speculated on earlier threads, as the pressure builds for the “warmertariat” to produce some answers, the higher profile members have stark choice. They can bail out now, have a bob each way, formulate an exit strategy or hang in with the prayer, “please god let me be right”.

Spindoc if you assimilated my comments you would have realised that I was not bagging the technology but rather the covering up of the incompetence driven by profit.The nuclear industry needs open surveillance to make sure safety measures are adhered to.

Well the news coming out of Fukushima justs gets worse.Hate to say I told you so.Radiation in the environment and oceans up 1200 times that of normal.The Govt and Corps will continue to cover up their sins and make the common person pay the price of their corruption.

The Japanese worker will to save face and for family honour,will go into these reactors and die for no good reason while the elites cover up their crimes of greed and oportunistic profit.
