One morning ,maybe tomorrow we will wake to see a crisis not unlike the two Korea's has started a full on war.
It will happen it is the nature of such things.
Should we stop it before it happens.
Should China stop propping up this half country.
Or America the other half,is power for such as China and the USA worth it?
North Korea, beyond our understanding a whole population never knowing freedom or truth.
One morning they too will wake in a world no one wants.

Very scary stuff Belly. Not altogether unexpected - it was always a time bomb scenario. At least China has also admonished Nth Korea's actions but where to now...?

Well Belly, if it happens, it happens.

There's nothing that we in Oz can do about it, is there?

A lot of people see 2012 as the year that things really start to fall apart. By all indications I fear that this is about right. At any rate, we are bound to be in for eruptions of enormous strife around the world in the near future.

That's where we've come to, with the human population explosion, environmental alienation, stressed basic resources, chronic mismanagement, corruption and gross financial irresponsibility.

Odd nutcase regimes like North Korea and the conflict that they are likely to cause are probably minor compared to what is likely to happen within the next decade or so.

Then again, maybe tomorrow we will wake to see a crisis not unlike the two Korea's has started a full on war.

If Australia collapses on a Brisbane green-top and the English end up winning the first test, it could be the beginning of the end.

One morning in January we may all wake up in a world no one wants.

ok hooly I give in cricket is that important to me too.
But how will this end? if not here what about Iran,Pakistan, them middle and near east in general.
China must do more they like every colonial country before are more interested in their own interests nothing else.
But it is not in their interest to have millions of hungry refugees crossing the border in to China.
Ludwig we can do little to stop it but Rudd is saying what he needs to say and his links may yet help.
If this is the one, the one morning moment we like the rest of the world will be affected.
