Have you ever noticed, how people always call for jails to be harsher and punishments made more severe... Until a young relative does something silly like grow a bit of pot and ends up in jail. Didnt you all see the hungry beast episode of how prisoners children also suffer? Relatives suffer all sorts of distress and indignity when a relative is incarcerated, and they havent actually done anything wrong. Most people only have television to go on, in terms of the prison experience, and so can be forgiven for being perhaps a little idealistic about it all. Prison wouldnt be too bad really in terms of facilities and activities, but the company is ordinary at best.
