G'Day All,
Huffnpuff, If I can make it I will definitely be there it is just going to be a little hard financially as I am on a DSP & haven't much left over each fortnight but I will try.
The Governments have a lot to answer for especially since reading the Parliamentry Discussion papers on the 1987 NSW Child Protection Act had two main points of interest that was supposed to stop a lot of the crap that is still going on.
The two points were (1)to stop the ridiculous idea that a child should have to defend itself against neglect when they have not committed a crime & (2) to stop children languishing in long term care giving rise to illegal backdoor adoptions.
Neither one of these points put a stop to DoCS continuing with their wanton destuction of families & the systemic abuse of our children.
We have three books released together called Attachment & Loss by John Bowlby that is one of the most indepth studies that I have read in relation to children but 90% of the Departments & Government Bodies when asked about Attachment & Loss don't even know his name.I have found that anyone that wants to practice in child welfare law that this would be compulsory reading.
Thanks for your time & may your Lord shine on you well.Dave.

Dear Michael,

I won't be able to attend due to family commitments,
and the fact that I live so far away (in Melbourne),
but my thoughts and prayers will be with you.
As you know I've emailed MPs in the past regarding
the matter of the Forgotten Australians - and I shall
continue to apply pressure in whatever way I can.
We will succeed Michael!

I personally am sorry.
Sorry huffnpuff that we can not get interest in your thread.
Sorry that rape, floggings, sadism, dreadful crimes against people in care, continue to be covered up.
I am sorry that senate inquiry's call for action are put on the back shelf.
Sorry that so many do not take the time to read of your torture and pain.
Sorry that maybe I will not be able to make it, but I will try, very hard.
Sorry that if I do we, you I and those who gather will be seen by so many as just anther crowd of lefty protesters.
Huffnpuff I regret that some think it never happened, that you made t up, but most importantly I am sorry my friend that until we finally say sorry, finally fix it, and set laws in place to imprison those who rape harm and torture it will never end.
The crimes against children and youth in our world degrade us all, we should hang our heads in shame.
fellow posters, how long would it take to write to your member of choice and demand those words?
We are sorry huffnpuff

G'Day All,
Belly, Sorry is an easy word to say but if nothing is changed in the one that uses that word then the word is meeningless.
"How long would it take to write" this is exactly the point that I think Huffnpuff is trying to get across & definitely what I am trying to get across it is no use saying sorry. Write to or contact Mr Elton Humphery(Secretary) Ms Christine McDonald (Principal Research Oficer) Ms Geraldine Badham (Principal Research Officer) Mr Peter Short (Senior Research Officer)Ms Leonie Peake (Research Officer)Ms Ingrid Zappe (Executive Officer) phone 02 6277 3515 fax 02 6277 5829 E-mail community.affairs.sen@aph.gov.au internet http://www.aph.gov.au/senate_ca
While you are writing please send a letter on behalf of my son as well PLEASE.
The ones that need prosecuting is the Solicitors Magistrates & the Departments that continue to remove children & place them with people that have a poor track record with there own children place them with so-called religious bodies that have shown poor track records in the past. " If you always do what you always did then you will always get what you always got"
Thanks All for your time Dave
