G'Day All,
The quote in the front of the Senate Report Book says it all
"Any nation that does not care for and protect all of its children does not deserve the right to call itself a nation" Nelson Mandela
Thanks from Dave

Huff I don't know your story - only fragments.

Dwg - I don't know your story regarding your son at all.

I get the general gist I think, but if you're up to posting a bit of it I would be most interested.

Anyway, DOCs has become worse; much worse.

The way some children are being removed and kept from really good parents is reprehensible, while at the same time the department fails miserably to remove children who need protection; together with their extraordinary legal power - weilded by idiot new graduates who haven't a clue. I am becoming increasingly convinced that the whole department should be scrapped - it's become too big and way too powerful. I am thinking smaller localized units where parents and children who can express themselves have a right of reasonable appeal against any decisions.

Anyway - Huff my thoughts and prayers also go with you especially on the day you all gather. Are there any other addresses for email? Or what do you recommend?

Dave dwg I know of your pain.
I read your posts, understand them.
Huffnpuffs story is even worse.
The pain is justified raw, dreadful and some who know it should post those links.
I Dave got of lightly, my family was poor, welfare the then DOCS haunted us.
We kids ran in fear at their arrival on our street.
A handful, one family, of bigoted Irish Catholics was aways the first home visited.
On their reports poor family after poor got visited, sometimes the hardest workers kids, well loved and looked after got taken into care.
Strange the bigots in later life saw EVERY one of their kids do prison time.
Dave you commited a classic crime against your own campaign, you took ownership of it, declared my support unwanted in my eyes by saying it is easy to say sorry.
Well David it s not, not at all, I feel your pain, know this my job brings evidence of fathers bashed!
By DOCS, by courts, by ex wifes, how can humanity ALWAYS blame the dad?
Dave we you I huffnpuff, know the dreadful truth, nothing is being done, saying sorry is a start, yet it may never happen.
If Dave we divide our selves, if we in fight and insult one another.
Divide and defeat is a well trodden path mate.
My best wishes but do not let the dreadful pain you live with daily turn supporters away.

For those that want to know the kids stories, Google 'The Forgotten Australians'. There is a Senate report you can get.

Huff, I'll try my best to be there. Can you give me a time and as I would like to meet you, can you wear something distinctive so I'll know you.

G'Day All,
Belly, to say sorry like I say is easy Kevin Rudd did it & what difference did it make. Until people demand that the people be prosecuted publicly & openly nothing will change.
The way to put a stop to all this mess is once & for all prosecute the Director-General for criminal charges ie Kidnap, Perversion of Justice, Perjury, Collusion, Conspiracy etc then people in authority will maybe get the general idea that they are accountable & make it a point to oversee ALL of the removals.
I have the paperwork that proves all this but noone wants to stand with me to petition for this to happen.
Pynchme if you contact me direct I will give you the whole story as the forum & on line opinion have given me about as much ground as they can over the time to say much more here would or could lead to trouble so contact graysond49@yahoo.com & I will gladly give you the story.
If I or You or anyone else has a child in their care & that child ends up dead or abused by our actions or inactions we are prosecuted then so to the Director-General should be prosecuted. The argument that all hide behind is the rule that you cannot prosecute the government & that is right BUT you can prosecute anyone that works for the government.
Thanks again for your time & may your Lord shine on you well.Dave.

The Forgotten ones have my sympathy but it is divided as I sit and watch this generation of them play.

My focus is on the children still living ignored, unhappy, abused little lives because “charities” and “not for profit” facilities can make millions in government funding.

Who comes first; the child living through it now or the adult who has lived through it? Could one help the other?

We'll just meet at the Botanical Gardens every say twenty years?
