Sorry about that, thanks for the grin.
I got your name from you, in another post.
I am not looking for it but those who are are far better at snooping than looking after kids
Lets hope the coming death of MY government in NSW brings change for the better in our state
If anyone from MY party is ofended by my statement let them consider this, we fight like hell to gain government.
Why to govern well, we need desperatly to understand that.
Not to hold ofice no matter what.
I am ashamed to see anti union anti worker contractors getting preference over government workers at more cost and poor outcomes from this shambolic mob calling them selves ALP

Well said Belly.

In respect to Piper's question, isn't there some way that she can receive assistance from the union? Please can you find out?

Our children desperately need people like her, I hope you can help.

Will the children vote in the next federal or state elections? If not then forget the politicians! They care only for the voters and ONLY on the election day!
About the beaurocracy they do not have heart and most time they are lazy to use their brain!
I am very sorry! The ONLY thing you can do is to fight for an association who will promote foster children's rights, but you will see the results from this fight later.
Believe me the only language they understand is the power, the fight for children's right, an association (many people) open to you the doors to mass media, City Counsil etc.
You must prepare yourself for long term fight. If ever you decide for an association do not forget that I am ready to become member. CHILDREN DESERVE A BETTER LIFE.

Antonios, it is a good point you raise about children’s rights and something that through everything I have seen I hadn’t considered. There is no one that supports the foster children. NSW has The Children’s Guardian but they will not defend any individual child.

Their role seems to be one of accrediting the NGO’s and I really don’t see what else they do. But I do have a big problem Antonios, I am not allowed to speak about individual cases or specific situations in detail this is why you don’t hear a lot from any foster parents online. Effectively gagged.

Do you know what occurred to me, or a non-fostering friend pointed out to me. Foster parents are means tested for the family assistance, well I knew that part but I never thought about how insulting it is that we are penalized for working (or husband is) while taking in children. This also penalizes the children for being in a home with an income. But foster parents do have different associations that will help. Now I need to work out how to defend the kids from the department whose job it is to protect children… how bizarre is that?

Excuse my ignorance Belly but when you say “MY” party do you mean your party or does “MY” stand for something? Me not knowing enough about Australia yet really does get in my way. I mistake commonly known things locally and take them literally. But yes you are right, I did name myself. Least it wasn’t my full name like you did![laugh]

Thanks Fractelle – Belly will a union take me if I make a donation?

They do need me, I am sneakily watching one over the top of my computer screen as I type this and I suspect this one needs me to tell them off it they don’t stop trying to pull the train track to bits, took me two days to put the colossal thing together and hot glue it down.

Sorry I wanted to highlight I am a part of the ALP its my party my life.
I am very happy very proud of our federal government.
But ashamed of the direction my party took after Bob Carr.
And just as unhappy the opersition has no need of politics, we have left the field of battle , gave them the next election over a year before it is held.
I increaseingly am not prepared to hide my shame in my party giving work to high cost low quality contractors while keeping numbers down in government work.
Having casuals working for years in jobs that should have been filled long ago.
Those workers are employed by underpaying grubs, sometimes ex union people, victimising low paid casuals with help from ministers without pride.
union?
not easy all unions want membership, after all its the fees that fuel the movement.
A lot goes back into the comunity via donations ext but too much work has been done in the past by every union for non members, who even after jobs have been saved do not pay dues.
your case is hard two unions could cover you.
But in my view your very best bet is find an industrial lawyer who may do it pro bono, for free, such firms exist
I and my union have no rights to represent you if I could I would .

unions are little remedy..[as are lawyers]at best they might help you sort out the words to best describe the problem..[and try to suggest a result]..then they put it into a letter[and follow up the letter]ocasionally

but essentially they atre there to stop the problem becomming their problem[dont misunderstand that union powewr hasnt had its positive affect[but by and larege this is the result of the people in the union taking joint action

[but joint action has become very difficult thanks to howhard and co[and keating and the labour sellouts running the state govt[i note the states especially have sold out buig time[for every real unionist there are ten non unionists and public servants..[serving their uber meisters..[bankers and lawyers..via their masonic lodge]

[lawyers are never loyal to the union..[being sworn members of the lawyer union controled from briton..[first and foremost loyal to the bench that gives them their title]

your assistance..[if any]..would best be done through womans groups[and other assosiations..that are really serving children..,ngo's that have public faces and meetings..[without the entrenched control mechanisms..[overlording it over others]

regardless there are kids that need you[and efforts you put in elsewhere are destracting you from the main job]...teaching those betrayed to trust again...

its interesting the child ripping off the fixed tracks...despite your fixing them..to run their sure course..[the child is conveying you..to follow your own path,..you simply cant lose by following the kids promptings..they are nore connected to your spiritual advisers than you...follow their lead...what paRT OF THE TRACK..didst the child dislike...when we are working on a solution evey thing has its teaching[timming is everything..[god gives us solutions in real time[not in hindsite]
