Here's a life story that has bugged me for many years (though I suspect I always knew the answer to it) that I would like to hear discussion on (maybe Jims death has bugged you too?)
One minute Jim Henson is with us, the next gone...brought down within hours by a strep infection...so they say.
Question: looking at Jims' life (via en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Henson and whatever else you might read on him) do you notice anything different or unusual in the course of his "life works" that might have changed the "Divine View" of his time on earth?

I guess few people outside of the committed christian churches really did. Many of us were shocked with the suddenness of his demise as well, though not totally surprised. I often wonder! how many others do today, what Jim did in his days?
Here was a man with huge power and influence over children and growing minds on a global basis...so lets not play this down.
In his hands he had the vastness of influence over a generation of hundreds of millions of youngsters to sway them towards good or towards evil.
For many years he maintained the status quo of providing education through Sesame Street then light entertainment through the Muppets. Then the change began. Then came the move over to witchcraft and evil. The Dark Crystal, then Labyrinth (one of the most bizarre films there ever was)... then The Story Teller.
Do you see what happened? Do you see what he was doing to the children of the Gods world?
From the Old Testament through to the end of the New Testament (Revelation 21:8) we are warned about magic and occult practices.
We are warned that doing those things aligns us with satan and his evil spirits. We are warned of CONSEQUENCES.
And here is Jim... luring a whole generation of children over into satans dark, demon-infested camp. Do you see why some men die early and mysteriously? If you dont... you need to study witchcraft at length and see what it does to lives. In third world countries it, and the fallen spirits powers, control and persecute the lives in whole communities. They do it to many in the west as well. JK Rowling with her Harry Potter books is doing today what Jim Henson did all of those years ago. I wonder if someone is warning her?

I guess Bugsy you have to believe in simple things like cause and effect, action and reaction...crime and punishment...sin and Judgment to see what I was getting at.
It helps to believe there is a God and there is a spirit war going on between good and evil on the earth (Ephesians 6:12-18) between Holy beings and demon darkness and that if you breach the rules by abusing power or authority...you can get hurt.
Jim Henson, bigtime, broke the rules of the war in his zeal for his craft which in the end lead young children to witchcraft.
Thats what Im suggesting.
A classic example of sin and "death judgment" is Ananias and Saffira in Acts chapter 5. Ananias and his wife Saffira sold a field and promised to give the money to the apostles but when the time came they witheld some of the money and then lied about it and subesequently died. I didnt see the spirit world "touch" Jim Henson but it looks like it to me.
