Look, you can draw these sorts of sudden deaths against the supposed sins of the person, but at the end of the day there have been far more evil people in the world that God has left untouched, so thats where the argument falls down.

As for the Bible stories, dont forget that the Bible is but the interpretation of man and as such has been heavily edited over the years. The passage that you point out really is no different to similar stories of divine revenge from any other religion (including paganism).

Well, whatever we feel about Jim Henson he was 1. in an enormously powerful position with the children at his feet, 2. he did in fact go off the narrow path Jesus speaks about and begin to lead the children into a dark realm of demon powers (you folk have really got to read that Word of God and what is known about evil spirits and how they destroy lives. Wheres your well-rounded life knowledge if you have a hole in any area of "knowledge available" and truth?), and 3. he did die under sudden unusual circumstances. I havent looked super deep into his death but like JK Rowling he would have had the warnings in his face for a while before dying. God raises men and women up to give warnings.
Jesus talks about putting a millstone around the neck of those who lead children astray into sin and throwing them into the deepest part of the ocean (Matthew 18:6)...and thats Holy Bible whether we believe it or not. "All scripture is inspired by God" (2 Timothy 3:16). Its not a man written book, like many of you folk think!
