In 2023-2025, overseas immigration contributed 108% of Sydney's population increase. (Arrivals exceeded locals leaving) 352,874 net overseas arrivals, with 113,088 locals leaving Sydney.

The unprecedented mass immigration has “hammered” the day to day living standards and “lived experience” of local people in Sydney and its immediate surroundings”, writes Dr. You. And there must be an “immediate cut in immigration” to restore the living standards of Australians, and to fix the “breakdowns in social cohesion and sectarian divisions and conflict.”
