To first hand it all on a silver platter to outsiders & then complain how it turns out is as silly as the mentality of drug abuse, senseless sport, tattoos & the general making yourself so useless that only outsiders will do any work, is nothing short of sheer stupidity !
Stop talking yourselves into how brilliant your grandparents were. Start proving yourself worthy of being their descendants. As it has been stated many times, Australia's worst enemy are Australians. Wake up ! Despite all the crap going now, far too many will keep voting Labor, Liberal & Teal. Have a good look at your Uni certificates & make good use of them when toilet paper's in short supply again. I bet none of these "educated" have a certificate of merit for common sense. ttbn can you please add a link to this Indian Sun article?
And I doubt the Trump Peace deal will happen anyway. Netanyahu already said he won't keep to the terms. Tucker Carlson / Jeffrey Sachs http://www.youtube.com/live/1pDRbwI4R0I Posted by Armchair Critic, Saturday, 4 October 2025 7:11:16 PM

At least the opposition has mentioned the obvious: the communications minister left the country after people died because of Optus. There can be no trust in the Albanese government because it did nothing in 2023, and now an irresponsible minister has shot through, overseas, to talk about censorship.
She's not going to censor this one. Looks OK in a short skirt is all that can be said in her favour. There were 18 recommendations put forward after the 2023 enquiry, into that Optus stuff up, on the entire 000 network health. No legislation or usually political BS was needed to do something. The shadow minister has at least laid the blame for the deaths squarely on Optus. The mammoth - bigger than an elephant - in the room, is what she didn't say (perhaps wisely) about the Albanese government/minister. Posted by ttbn, Sunday, 5 October 2025 9:24:03 AM

Now see that the blame is placed on Optus;
Well it may not be Optuses fault at all. It may be a fault in whoever wrote the operating system for the machine. Oh yes ttbn, the Indians are pretty big in the software field. The one thing that you can be certain of is that the fault is none of those being blamed. I would love to hear what they have eliminated so far. I do not even know what machine the job runs on. I heard on the TV last night a suggestion that a retired judge be appointed to look into the problem ! I laughed out loud when I heard that ! How stupid can they get ? My wife asked me what was so funny. The only solution is to give those three or four techs everything they ask for. Like a 4 week holiday on full pay afterwards to wind down. Which reminds me how stupid can the government get to ban phone calls from the boss after hours, gawd we are really led by idiots. Posted by Bezza, Tuesday, 7 October 2025 3:52:49 PM

“This entire Albanese government seems hell-bent on doing as much harm to Australia and our future prosperity as they possibly can in as short a timeframe as they can get away with”.
The main Exhibit: Net Zero with its shocking effect on the economy and environment. The damage already done will take generations to repair.
Albanese has trashed our reputation as a reliable Western ally; and not just with the US.
The recognition of a Palestinian state is “offensive and obnoxious”, and a reward to terrorists. “Childish stupid and dangerous” is another description.
To add to the stupidity, Albanese thinks he had some input into Trump's M.E peace plan.
Albanese has also snubbed the probable next PM of the UK, Nigel Farage.
Then there's the “opposition”. Lord help us.
