You will have heard by now that Australia has been lumbered with a $400,000 million deal, plus $70,000 pa, with Nauru to take 350 foreign criminals who have had their visas cancelled, but who have 'refused' to return to their own countries, of because they are in danger of persecution in those countries - maybe. Who knows. It shouldn't be Australia's problem.
But, thanks to 'international' agreements, and interfering judges, Nauru, at out expense, it is. Good deal for Nauru, but just one more problem for Australia, thanks to our slapdash immigration circus.
And if Tony Burke, of all people, has made this decision, these people are really bad. Normally, he is glad to get all sorts of scum here to vote Labor after he shortcuts the citizenship system.
