Yes sure Russia lost a lot of men trying to prevent the outcome we currently have in Syria, you were sold a war of foreign interference and regime change for the country to be handed over to terrorists, sure I don't like the 'Greater Israel expansion' but what I care about is the Syrian people, which includes Christians, you support Israel and US policy to empower terrorists in Netanyahus wars or territorial expansion.
Syria was done for economically, the West did their job well, brought it to it's knees, corruption ruled, Assads forces were poorly paid and easily bought. Russia while standing to lose it's military base in the Mediterranean, also lost a liability of a country.

Beyond that I don't support sanctions and overthrows, said it a million times.
