I’m not sure what you are alluding to there, Armchair Critic.

Trump announced on 12 February that he planned to meet Putin in Saudi Arabia sometime “in the near future” to negotiate a settlement of the war in Ukraine.

He warned he would impose tariffs and additional sanctions on Russia if Putin did not end the war.

In the meantime, Zelensky has agreed to the US plan of a 30-day truce in hostilities, and Trump’s special envoy, his real-estate agent friend, Steve Witkoff, has just arrived in Moscow today for preliminary discussions with Putin.

On the battleground, Russia has thrown all its military weight into the recuperation of Russian territory in the Kursk region, occupied by the Ukraine military forces, in a desperate effort to reinforce its position in the future peace negotiations.

Most observers seem to think it is unlikely that Trump will accept the American peace plan in its present form and will seek to gain time with long and drawn-out discussions.

If that is the case, it will be interesting to see if Trump and his sidekick, Vance, will submit Putin to “the question” as they did Zelensky in the Whitehouse, under the spotlights of world television.

I suspect, however, that that is a special treatment reserved exclusively for the weak and defenceless.

The Oval Office behavior of Trump and that dead sh!t sidekick of his, Vance was nothing more than a sickening disgrace. It had all the hallmarks of the school yard bully tactics. There was Trump the bully, with his sycophantic sidekick Vance peppering the defenseless kid Zelenskyy with all sorts of belligerency no matter what Zelenskyy would say. The pair were out to give the kid a bloody nose, no matter.

- I'm sure Paul will agree that we disagree on many topics but we just don't bicker with one another aver our differences of opinion.

Paul supports the Greens whilst I mostly supported Hanson and Trump,
- Though in the case of who wins a US election, I support the multipolar world order not the unipolar world order with Americas 'exceptionalism' and 'endless wars for Israel' and their regime changes and sanctions;
I supported Trump because I thought the Ukrainian conflict would be less likely to go nuclear under Trump than Biden, but now I'm not so sure.

- It's fair play to say 'I think your comment is stupid and I also think you are stupid' and / or 'throwing it back if someone throws it your way', but being snarky ad petty that's a bit childish and beneath me, though I'm sure I've had my moments.
