The myth of multicultural essentialism is one of the most “detrimental pieces of propaganda” inflicted on Australians over the past 30 years, when the education system started preaching that “Australia's culture is multiculturalism”. Other countries have a culture, but Australia only has a “collection” of coexisting cultures, according to the propaganda and brainwashing.
As Chavura points out, Australia was not settled by a “tossed salad” of Greeks, Italians, Chinese and a 100 other nationalities; it was settled by Britain, with British ideas. Great Britain influenced language, expressions of Christianity, tastes in sport, economic system, literature, forms of entertainment, security alliances, and even our sense of humour.
Our sense of identity has been weakened by the multiculturalism myth in order to enable ideological movements such as Aboriginal grievance, cultural Marxist Wokeism, and Islamism to have an unopposed walk-through in reshaping our laws, education system, and nation as a whole.
The truth is that Australia is historically, and still to a large degree, a British nation, albeit one which has welcomed people from cultures all around the world to enjoy the fruits of British values and freedoms. We have been hypnotised by activists and the likes of th ABC into believing otherwise. Britishness is portrayed as bad by a minority but loud Fifth Column.
Chavura sees the most pernicious effect of multicultural nonsense in an immigration scheme that has produced “deeply divisive sub-communities and social trauma, every now and then exploding unto ugliness and violence”. And the pre-existing culture has been too degraded by the Fifth Column to stop it.
The British heritage that made Australia what it is is being slowly but surely uprooted. People who hate Australia want that, of course. They had better hope that they are dead and gone before the disease of multiculturalism finishes the country off for good.
