Unfortunately you try to equate what are social problems with a particular political philosophy, calling it the fault of "Leftist Social engineering fostered by Labor do-gooder". You have the false notion that disadvantaged kids are simply the product of political interference, no they are not, they are the product of social disadvantage.

You want government to give you security from societies misfits, so you want tough end action in the form of long mandatory sentences for those who offend, more jail time, you think that will keep you safe, no it wont!

You speak from a point of ignorance. You most likely have zero experience with troubled youth, you see the end result, but you don't understand the root causes. You invent some rubbish explanation which suits your particular politic philosophy. You believe things would be fine if only those "Woke expert Social Engineers" weren't in control of the up-bring of young people who turn out as anti-social misfits, committing crime. The causes are much closer to home, a failed or nonexistent home life contributes to many a failure. You of course have the simple solution, some regimented army style boot camp through a very expensive national service. You are dreaming.

Just because you don't like the evidence doesn't make your wishful thinking fact ! What is it with your silly obsession about boot camps ? Were you kicked out of one for paying too much attention to the young ones ? If you're so warped that you see discipline as something bad then you really have more of a problem then most fruit loops running free !
I don't care what anyone says but a disciplined & respectful, considerate person will never be a problem to society, on the contrary. When most decent folk are trying to create harmony you et al are trying to sabotage any good will.
