I've just finished re-reading the book by Israeli
Historian - Prof. Ilan Pappe, "Ten myths About Israel". For the genral public this book explains things from the universal perspective of justice and human rights. It clarifies some of the deep misunderstangins at the heart of the Israel-Palestine problem, in the past and the present. Pappe tells us that "as long as these distortions and inherited assumptions are not questioned, they will continue to provide an immunity shield for the present inhuman regime in the land of Palestine". Pappe says that setting the historical record might have an impact on the chances for peace and reconciliation in Israel and Palestine. "History lies at the core of every conflict. A true and unbiased understanding understanding of the past offers the possibility of peace. The distortion or manipulation of history, in contrast will only sow disaster. As the example of the Israel-Palestine conflict shows, historical disinformation even ot the most recent past can do tremdous harm". "This wilful misunderstanding of history can promote oppression and protect a regime of colonization and occupation". Posted by Foxy, Friday, 13 December 2024 9:41:52 AM

Is it anti-Semitic to state known provable facts?
Armchair Critic, No, nor is it anti Muslim ! Facts are facts & they are that both sides are constantly in the faces of the rest of the World. Stop walking around advertising your ethnicity by wearing garments drawing attention to it ! You're fully aware that you're constantly challenging others & causing friction in public. When in Rome wear what the Romans wear. There are more than enough idiots running around like roosters & peacocks. Some jewish bloke got taken away by Police in Melbourne for waving a jewish flag in full view of idiot protesters. If that's not inciting trouble than what is. I hope the cops gave him a lesson. As if it's not enough to have the River to the Sea lemmings screaming & yelling & being a general nuisance ! Want to do something for your homeland ? Go & live there, stop causing mayhem here ! Both of you ! Posted by Indyvidual, Friday, 13 December 2024 4:54:16 PM

I'm not necessarily being critical of Israel and things pertaining to Jewish people, any more than I'm actually trying to support and promote a better fairer world for all the people in it, not just revolving around the benefit of Jewish people and their interests.
You all know that I oppose sanctions and regime changes for example. This is based on my own principles, not anything to do with Israel. I think sanctions are collective punishment, and I think regime changes are done to benefit foreign interests not the people who actually live in said place. Syria, for example was done for Israels interests. America stole their oil, stole their best food growing areas. (no problems if it's for a cause the U.S. supports) The Syrian government was that broke because of the loss of territory and sanctions, not paying it's military properly their commanders were setting up checkpoints to tax the citizens, corruption increased, and half the Syrian Arab Army were easily bribed to stand aside with a few hundred dollars. Before you knew it, poorly trained military were removing their uniforms, putting on civilian clothes leaving their weapons behind and running away. The US admits this policy of ongoing pressure, only not in the newspapers. http://www.youtube.com/live/MFsFOS5Odno?t=903s Now they have Jihadis taken over the country. Women have been told to cover their hair and men and women must segregate. You can't argue this is 'Liberal Intervention' in any true sense even if you support removing Assad. They turned a reasonably good country in 2011 into Afghanistan, and I'd bet the 'prisoners' that were allegedly tortured or mistreated, well they were probably ex-ISIS after the last war and anything done to them was probably no different than the U.S. itself did in inmates in Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Ghraib_torture_and_prisoner_abuse But the media wants us to think about things in a certain way, and this is how we all must think, or they call us some name to denigrate (as they often do on any particular topic) to beat us over the head, denounce said thinking and to make us comply. There used to be some 300k Christians in Syria, now only about a tenth of that remains.
But you won't find the so-called good and decent western Christians sticking up for them. They themselves believe they must stand with God's chosen people and Israel has a right to defend itself. -'To hell with my Christian brothers and sisters' The Christians are so lost many support killing the Palestinians, like they know not what Jesus taught, thumbs up for the new crusade maybe. Am I the bad guy for pointing all this stuff out? Or just the bad guy because I fail to comply? Posted by Armchair Critic, Friday, 13 December 2024 6:36:42 PM

Can't believe what I just saw on the abc news.
Or maybe I can [rolls eyes] They did a big 5 minute segment on Syria, talking up the new Jihadi government, first Friday prayers. Anthony Blinken pops in to tell us how great they are... all very woke reassurances. [Story = Ex-ISIS / Al Nusra Jihadis are good] Very. Next. Segment. 33 people killed as Israel bombs a refugee camp, post office targeted, covered dead bodies everywhere, not a single word of criticism for Israel... [Story = Israel is not bad] Mad. Crazy. Stupid. World. Posted by Armchair Critic, Saturday, 14 December 2024 6:18:47 AM

Did you spot that it was fake news?
Do you see how they manipulate you?

Here's a article from Haaretz 2 weeks after 9/11
Odigo Says Workers Were Warned of Attack
FYI, Odigo was an Israeli social media / instant messaging service headquartered in Israel, but with an office 2 blocks from ground zero
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odigo_Messenger
I already showed you the dancing Israelis, and there were reports that Jews in World Trade Centre knew in advance and didn't show up for work that day.
This video is from Candace Owens, a MAGA supporter on the right, saying it.

These 'rebels' that overthrew Syria are considered terrorists by our government and the U.S. no different to Hamas and Hezbollah.
The leader they promote has a US 10 million dollar bounty on his head.
I am going to cut back my so-called anti-Semitic rhetoric though.
But you all should know that the large majority of things I've said, are not a secret, all in plain sight.
I'm not necessarily the one stating it, 99% of the time, I'm simply sharing things that other people have said, or things that are already widely known.
US congress is owned by the Israel lobby, that's a fact.
US wars in the M/E were wars to benefit Israel, that's a stated fact.
US neoconservatives and think tanks are pro-Israel that's a fact.
And all our own democracies have been co-opted with Israeli interests and free trips to Israel, that's a fact.
Is it anti-Semitic to state known provable facts?
- Probably, criticising their genocide and their wholesale slaughter of women, kids and journalists certainly seems to be.
