A non-combatant enters a war zone and gets killed.

Shocker.

Haaretz is reporting that the Israelis believed the convoy was helping to ferry at least one Hamas operative around. If true, that puts a very different light on things. As always with these things, wait for the fog of war to disperse.

Well blow me down mhaze, a Zionist propaganda sheet, "Haaretz, is reporting that the Israelis believed the convoy was helping to ferry at least one Hamas operative around." Absolute nonsense, the US headquartered aid agency 'World Central Kitchen' for which "Zomi" Frankcom worked, stated that the convoy had been cleared by IDF to leave the warehouse just before the Zionist air force attacked. These Zionist apologists on here will say anything to defend murder by the Israels. The Zionists want no possible witnesses, such as aid workers, who could in the future attest to the Zionist crimes of murder and genocide taking place now.

The hypocrisy of some, the hard right poster ttbn says; "they had no business being there in the first place". If a disaster, natural or man made was to befall the poor old ttbn, he'd be the first to scream HELP!, I demand HELP, government give me AID.

"Anyone volunteering to go to a war zone"; never any danger of that happening to you Indy, back in the day, you dodged any kind of voluntary NATIONAL SERVICE.

Anti-Semitic immigrants to Germany are going to find it tougher to gain citizenship.

The German Interior Minister has said that “Antisemitism, racism, and other forms of contempt for humanity rule out naturalisation.”

“One surefire short-hand for establishing who means us ill is by singling out those who mean our Jews ill”.

Good stuff! Not much chance of it catching on in Australia, though, with the mindset that has Jews responsible for the evil - and the stupidity - of just about anyone who meets an end brought on by their own actions.

Dear ttbn,

.

At least 196 humanitarians have been killed since October 2023 according to the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

The key UN agency providing relief to Palestinians, UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency), tweeted that 176 of its 13,000 workers on the ground have been killed since the violence erupted on 7 October 2023.

Israel claimed (1) that 12 UNRWA employees were involved in the October 2023 attacks, (2) that about 10% of the UNRWA's employees in the Gaza Strip have connections to Islamist militant groups, primarily Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and (3) that 190 UNRWA employees were militants.

Despite the lack of evidence, UNRWA immediately fired the employees concerned.

A US intelligence assessment of Israel’s claims indicated that some of the accusations were credible though impossible to verify but cast doubts on wider links to militant groups.

A subsequent investigation by UNRWA reported in February 2024 that Israel had subjected some of its (UNRWA’s) employees to falsely admit Hamas links under "forced confession", including through the use of torture.

As you are probably aware, the controversy led several major donor countries to suspend their funding of UNRWA, including the United States, Germany, and Japan. Others : Spain, Portugal and Ireland, increased theirs, following strong protests from the World Health Organization, Doctors Without Borders, and Amnesty International.
.

In light of all this, ttbn, I find it difficult to imagine that the recent Israeli Air Force attack on a convoy of aid workers from 'World Central Kitchen', killing 7 aid workers including an Australian citizen, Lalzawmi "Zomi" Frankcom, and a Palestinian driver … was just an accident.

But perhaps you have evidence to the contrary.

If you do, would you kindly let us have the details ?

.

The tragedy of all this is that the innocent on both sides
will continue to suffer. Anti-Semitism will rise, and anyone
daring to criticize the IDF actions will be accused of supporting
Hamas. Which is not good for any attempts at peace negotiations.

Israel needs to take responsibility for this act - and not
attempt to spin out of it.

Even in war - humanitarian aid should be a given and protected
and recognized by both sides.

There is no evidence that the people stupid enough to be in a war zone were deliberately targeted by Israel. Showing photos of a big hole in the middle of a logo on a vehicle justs whips up rage against Isreael - as if there wasn't enough of that already!

If you don't go into a war zone when you clearly do not need to, you won't get killed. Nothing is going to make these particular idiots live again; there will be no consequences for Israel. All the incident has done is to provide the usual Israel/Jew haters another opportunity to rant and rave - in vain. Israel is going to continue doing what it is until Israel, and only Israel, is satisfied that it is safe.

All the moralising and pontificating by po-faced do-gooders will fizzle out within a week, just as the outrage over a female activist, flattened by a bulldozer because she was also stupid enough to go all the way from America to protest in Israel, fizzled out a couple of years ago.

The media feeds on these occasions and opportunities to stir up all the cage-rattlers.
