Well, it is probably the best option that Labour won the election.
Together with the Feds they will first stuff up the energy system and
then the state will assist them to get the Voice through by hook or bye crook
and a population ground down by inflation, interest rates and farming
output falling due to loss of fertilisers, (see Sri Lanka & Holland).
All that just for starters.
If the Libs had won they would have tried to stop the decline but
they would have still been aiming for Zero 50 and it would have been
too late to save the energy system.

Better to have a quick crash, and a change of government to people
who have a better understanding and who will get it restarted.
All those at present in the field are too STUPID to understand how it
all works. They proved their STUPIDITY when they destroyed the coal
stations without getting the replacement generation in place first !

Anyone that STUPID should not be allowed near politics.
Someone said that there were no politicians that had ever had a small
business and most had only worked as trade union officials or political
office clerks.

The responses here are quite typical of the WASP boomer clique which are thankfully a diminishing breed in this country.

The Millennials whose numbers are increasing rapidly as a demographic will likely get this across the line if it succeeds.

They well understand the selfishness of the boomer generation grasping for tax perks and handouts at the expense of our young Australians.

I for one are proud of them and feel this country will be in good hands. The have helped dispatch the party of the boomers in all States except for one and the future looks bright.

Meanwhile the gum flappers of OLO chirp away into their Metamucil porridges and think the have relevance.

You really don't old chaps. Not one bit. Party's over boys.

One should be wary of people harping on about children being the light that leads us forwards. More a pied piper.

WHAT THE SOLICITOR-GENERAL IS PREVENTED FROM REVEALING

What the Albanese Government seeks to hide by refusing to release the Solicitor-General's assessment, centres on:

1. The Voice's ability to make representations to the "Executive" (which includes Cabinet and Albanese himself).

THE KICKER IS one reading of Constitutional implications is that the Executive would be required to publically give cause if and why it rejected Voice advice.

and

2. If the Voice was unhappy with the Executive rejecting its advice then the Voice could bring its disputes with Albanese

to that arbiter of Constitutional situations, the HIGH COURT

for judgement, potentially against Albanese's policies.
