Instead of wasting all the funding & ruining all the good will, simply acknowledge the Aborigines in the Constitution !
The rest has already been addressed for many decades & by Billions in funding of facilities & services !

But we are all Australians.
Should we then not all be acknowledged in the Constitution?
Why introduce race-based wording for a few?
And what real advantage is the suggested 'acknowledgement'?
Relieving hurt feelings?
My suggestion for that is: 'it is time to grow up'.
And stop being a 'wuss' too.
There are far more important things in life.
Australia needs positive thought.
Australia needs positive contributions.
Australia needs YOU to pull your socks up.
You are starting to look like an untidy rabble.
Step forward (boldly?), and keep Australia level and progressive.

And regarding Mr Julian...
It appears he only likes democracy when it agrees with him.
He forgets he will not always be on the 'winning' side.
However, a democratic decision IS the best way to go.

Without all the drama, he could simply have voted against the party.
Or quietly abstained.
That is his right, on behalf of his electorate.
But he would need to explain to his electorate why he voted that way?

You mentioned Dutton's position. Is there any truth to the rumour that The Dud will be shooting off to the good old US of A shortly, to get advice on the Voice from Dangerous Doctor Donald. Whilst there The Dud will be assuming the Stormy Daniels position with Donald for a intensive all night session. Is it true? Cause The Dud has taken every other position on the Voice thus far, why not the Stormy Daniels position.

The VOICE is not a moral question, it's a political & power based & focussed issue.
Morally, Australians have already bent ar$e over backwards in aid of it's indigenous.
The desired power grab & political opportunism are not a moral issue.
