Ode to Freddy Mercury. Singapore 23/3/2001

Hey big guy, ur really tough,
U took life by the handle, and strutted all your stuff
U belted out the music, and let us know you’re here
U told us over and over, that u had no fear

More Lovers than Madonna, wasn’t that you’re earthly anthem ?
Boys and girls alike, u always had to have them
U chewed life up, and spat it out, u did it all ‘your way”
But when the final song is done, doesn’t our Maker have the say ?

How curious my reflection, as I consider you’re direction
The course you chose, you’re colorful life, not without sensation
Nevertheless the irony is –the songs you sang for a crust
Became your own epitath.. “another one bites the dust”

and...so.. as we continue the slide down the slippery slope of moral degeneration... lapping up what is dished out by Hollywood, and by 'Adult' web sites... justifying our 'freedom' with such mantra's as 'No one can decide what we view execpt us'...the water becomes warmer... warmer... as we sit in the beaker... and finally.. we expire.

MIUAUG is now on turbo charge.. "Human Animal genetic Hybrids".

And at Stanford University in California an experiment might be done later this year to create mice with human brains.

So now you're recycling your old silly posts, Boazy.

You've inflicted that poem on us before, old son - certainly no need for a rerun.

I see I have a fan :)

CJ..that was the short version.

Now.. assure me...please... you don't have a small out of the way room at your place where you have my posts all plastered over the walls.. and a little BoazDoll that you regularly stick pins into and chant obscure mantras of cursing over.......do you ? :)

*pinch*..this is a serious issue. Pity you don't have much to offer.

What *is* serious, is the appalling quality of the poetry.

Closely followed by the complete lack of a serious issue.

"as we continue the slide down the slippery slope of moral degeneration"

Well I guess we could always dump religious instruction at
schools, as its clearly a failure, and teach morality and
ethics instead.

New Scientist has an interesting article in the latest copy
that I bought. If morality is grounded in biology, why bother
with religion?

Otherwise we could always turn to religion. Long beards,
no music, no videos, no prostitution, just worship God,
just like Osama is suggesting. He's a religious fanatic
just like you Boazy :)

Although I am of the opposite end of the religious scale from David, I agree that the moral fibre of our country, and the west in general, is going down the drain.

Since when is the corruption of a people not a serious issue?

Morals and decency go together. Anyone that wants to suppress them has the destruction of our society as a goal.
