CJMorgan, I recently discovered that my mobile phone has an inbuilt thermometer. I shudder to think...

Well I think that BD should really consider becoming a muslim.
With four wives, he would be too buggered to fantasise about all those so called "evil" things, that others might get up to :) Posted by Yabby, Monday, 10 September 2007 8:35:59 PM

Boaz, if raw sewage is being dumped into the reservoir, buy bottled water. This applies to our sick, decadent, debauched society.
Even non-religious people can still appreciate and respect the impact of Christian ethics and thinking on Western culture. Most would identify the link between the decline of Christianity in the West and the moral breakdown of our society. But there isn't much us 'moralists' can do these days without being vilified. Most interesting to note the variety of responses.
I didn't get much detail on the exact type of bestiality, my mate just related it in general terms. Rob.. I appreciate that you always try to give reasoned and clear answers. Theologically you and I are chickens and ducks at the moment as you know.. i can only offer my view and opinion here. I simply feel that without a stable moral reference.. we will continue to sink... http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,22402392-5006014,00.html As radio ratbag and aggressive reality TV judge Kyle Sandilands blitzed Sydney radio ratings survey yesterday, the explosive sex scenes in Channel 10's provocative Californication created a ratings boon for the network. Trouble with all this is... Todays "shock" is tomorrows 'boredom'.. so..next step ? How do commercial networks and movie producers continue to 'differentiate' themselves and make money ? The thing about '2morrow' is that there is a day after it..and after that..and so on. How this is not obvious (and the moral implications) is a riddle to me. I suspect many things are a riddle to you Boazy. The way real sustained ratings are achieved on television is through decent writing and well structured drama (or comedy, or whatever), witness such shows as LOST, or Law and Order etc. Even reality shows are starting to lose their appeal as the unstructured drama novelty factor is wearing thin....
Sexual titillation without decent plot lines and writing will only serve ratings transiently, as you already know, but it is a bloody stupid argument to think that it's a slippery slope to pornography or moral oblivion. That won't rate much at all, especially since the average viewer will only watch porn for a very limited amount of time. Posted by Bugsy, Thursday, 13 September 2007 11:04:10 PM

Heard the words the meaning and the pain?
An old rocker from way back box of country and western, if it is music I have it!
I could find plenty to bleat about if I looked but why look?
We are and always have been driven by sex, I think Christians have done more harm than good getting involved in our bedrooms.
NO I am not promoting ANY KIND of sex other than normal, but gee please!
Tell you what here is your next thread, my best mate is a little foxy female dog, she would die for me I for her.
Find out why Muslims think we should not have dogs.
