Funny how 'God's will' is always in favour of the victor - regardless of the godlessness of the victory. Who would claim to know it other than a tyrant?

Well bennie, it's like this....
The reason successful organisations, even those of an actual or imagined criminal nature, are successful is not only because of choice, delivered and allowed by God, but because of determination.
It's God's will that there be a "loser" also, not so much for punitive reasons, moreso that lessons might be learnt about a course of action, so as to prevent similar unwanted results in the future.
So, "win" or "lose", God's will prevails. The question of God's will should never be contemplated during decision making because by default, it is God's will. Understand? It's not Godless at all. It's allowed by God.
Determination is the crucial element. It's what allows horse and jockey to win races by a nose. It doesn't matter how big the margin, moreso the doing with resolve greater than those around you.
For all the talk of Israel having a nuke, they haven't used it yet. Their obvious displayed determination and resolve, historically, allows fear into the hearts of those less resolved.
