I wish, I wish, I wish you were here Steve. Terri, Bindi, Robert, Steve's dad and family.....please hang in there. What a terrible loss to all. A legend and animal savior has passed. Who will save the animals now? No one was as compassionate as Steve. Love, a family in Southern California.

I dont know what everyone thinks about Germaine Greers stupid comments. But I have been effected by what she said and it is not wonder the women lives in the UK, she is either too stupid to live in Australia or she has upset too many people here with her ridiculous comments.

Germaine Greer is simply a nasty old dyke who has passed her "use-buy" date. Riding on the back of Steve Irwin's death is a last puny attempt to catch another 15 minutes of fame.

Bitter and nasty people like her and Proud To Be Indonesian ought to stay far away from our shores.

PBI cracked me up in his last post - raving on about how the Indonesians so quicklly got over the tsunami - he forgot to mention the millions of dollars true blue Aussies provided to the Indonesian people in their time of crisis.

When just recently I mentioned Germaines diatribes,my 21 yr old daughter said in honest innocence,"Who is Germaine Greer?" To which I said,"I agree,enough said."

What a sad demise for a once heralded intellectual of women's freedom.She is now just a bitter old woman trapped in a time warp of bile and hate,while the rest of the world has moved on.A tragic and pitiful sight.
