Well Brownie, that is so interesting. The biog must have been written by someone who hadn't a clue.She never backpacked around Europe alone or with anyone else. And she never lived with older men. Her 'steadies' were Tom Burlinson, then Marcus Graham, then TC. Those few suitors in between were fly-by-night affairs and certainly nobody 10 or more years older than her.Have just had a thought....she played a backpacker when she was in her late teens, in 'Bangkok Hilton'. Maybe that created confusion for the poor guy trying to collate 'facts' for his book. There's no way she'd backpack alone anywhere. Although she's as hard and icy as a glacier with regard to herself and her career, not only does she have no feeling for anyone else, underneath she's terrified of living in the real world or facing real people or being real/honest herself. Note how she fearfully clutched her sister's and ex-girlfriend's (Rebecca Rigg) hand when she trod the red carpet after the marriage break-up. She was probably terrified someone had found out about her 'Moulin Rouge' on-set affair and was going to surprise her with it.

I have just heard that KU cancelled his concert in Manchester at the last minute. He has flown back to Australia apparently. It must have been a last minute decision because his band didn't even have a clue and were ready to play. KU supposively has voice problems.

Does anyone know more?

Haven't heard about that one Wakings, but just heard that she is going to do a re-make of How To Marry a Millionaire (or whatever it's called) playing the Marilyn Monroe role.How many hundreds of times did she tell anyone who would listen that once she got married to Mr. Right, her career would take a back place to the marriage? Apparently K.U. is not the love of her life.

I actually got onto the UK ticketmaster and they labelled the event cancelled.Be interesting to see what comes of all this.

Wonder if KU has been a naughty boy again and has come home to save the marriage and get his bottom smacked.

KU's concert in Manchester was indeed cancelled around noon the day of the show. No official word yet from his camp, and it was reported that the band was surprised. The reviews from the previous UK shows were that his voice was great, strong and clear. Rumor has it that he flew straight to Oz... but why, if his voice doctor is in Nashville? Things that make you go hmmmmm.... His next scheduled show is May 11th in Oz. I'll keep you posted.

Watching the events of this so called "marriage" is like watching a chimpanzee drive a car through an obstacle course, driven at the top of a mountain, surrounded all round by thousand foot drop cliffs... not surprised at every misstep, and so sure of the ultimate outcome.
At a movie blog I read about the remake of How to marry a millionare, and the guy at this blog said he thought she was too old to play the lead. But thats been the biggest flaw in her movie choices lately, she believes she's still a youthful starlet, playing naive, wide-eyed innocents looking for mr right. Well i read in a review that she used a dreadful and annoying Monroe breathy voice in Bewitched, cant even begin to imagine what a full on Marylyn Monroe impression she'll butcher for this movie.
