Well Morgan, from the description of the movie ive read, doesnt she play an English aristrocrat? A blue blood outsider coming in to the aussie outback to rule over the local peasants? Sounds about her usual role. Now that you mention it, she does seem to be pretty distant in the industry. Sure theres the lip service about best pals naomi watts and russell crowe, (Crowe, obviously wise enough to bail in not just one, but two films with box office poison Botoxia! ) but since being dumped by Cruise, shes usually alone at premieres or awards, and probably back to solo-ing it with urban rehabbing it. Again, absolutely no seeming comeraderie with any one else in the world! Another sign of her one dimensional personality.

Maclen, I have heard that her friendship with Naomi Watts has gone down the drain, following the way of her other Aussie friends she dumped and offended. She's a loner allright. Even from her kids. A right alien.

It is possible that the Kidman/Watts friendship melted under the heat of Ms.Watts very solid success.

Well, brownie, I would think Watts was getting annoyed of being asked about kidman being her bff at every appearance. Well if it is true the friendship is over, no doubt its due to neglect. Ive always thought of them as being rather similar... only that watts didnt seem as neurotic or uptight. Trying to claw and climb your way to the top of the starlet hill, can cost these women a price in their personal lives, which they seem very willing to pay, yet it seems Watts isnt willing to use every fortunate, or unfortunate occasion to try to reach that level in a superficial grab for self glorification.

just have a couple of late night musings... was doing a news search and saw a aussie article by an interviewer who was recalling an interview with botoxia, and how she was bummed because she wanted to be out on the beach with her "kids" and how as a kid she loved and was always on the beach. And this interviewer was making a point on how pale kidman was, and how could she remain so if she was in fact such an outdoors and beach go-er. Well that answer is pretty obvious! Another thing ive noticed is how she's destroyed her hair. I once commented how awful she looked in those paparrazzi photos of she and urban out walking around the neighborhood, and how they resembled homeless people. Well her hair in these candid shots is very mousy and frizzy, not even shoulder length, and completely bleached out, (wasnt she a redhead?) And then I noticed in a few premieres, at the rome film festival, for instance, her hair is very straight and full, a vivid yellow colored and it's length is down to the middle of her back.... obviously a wig... Well it seems her cosmetic obsession has also claimed the integrity of her hair! She cannot even remain authentic on the red carpet, as shallow as it remains to be...

Maclen you are spot on. She is naturally a redhead...curly hair....very pale and never, ever, EVER was a "beach girl"...and face very freckled.That is the 'real' Botaxia.
Here in Austalia, especially Sydney, you're either a 'surfie' which means you live the outdoor life on a beach. Or you are the 'indoor type': scholars, actors, poets, writers... who SCORN being on the beach-worshipper and 'having the mentality of a surfie'.
Botaxia was the latter to the nth degree. She was absolutely never ever a beach person. She tries to build a 'persona' of an 'Aussie" by talking this way, to suit certain interviews, but in truth, she has become the botoxed boring Hollywood Celebrity. She even lied once in an interview, whilst trying to pretend an allegiance with Australia, that she had a relative who worked on the building of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This was proved to be a lie.She is Hawaiian by birth.
