Great business acumen, yes. Called Greed, actually.
You are so right Maclen. She would have thought that donning a false nose was 'serious acting'. And her other ridiculous choices such as you mentioned were also probably taken on believing that they would portray her as a serious and complex actress. But she's not.She is incapable. And that's why all projects failed. She is a simple-minded girl and doesn't have the depth of character to even understand, let alone portray, deep and meaningful issues. There is a difference between her and Dakota Fanning though. Dakota has talent. Botoxia doesn't. She will stand out like a sore toe in the film Australia, measured against the likes of Bryan Brown, Jack Thompson and the like. She will stand out as the egotistical, self-absorbed, botoxed Hollywood celebrity amongst down to earth Australian actors who can really act and who don't have Hollywood egos. You know what, she will be all simpering and coy and in awe of the likes of Bryan Brown and Jack Thompson, because while growing up, these are the Australian actors she admired and wanted to become. Being in their company will reflect back to her, the truth of where she came from, who she REALLY is and all her falseness and hypocrisy.

I cant disagree with you, Morgan. Well it seems she was rushed to the hospital after a car accident on the set for reshoots of Invasion... shes fine it seems and was back filming. So it seems the film did bomb with a test audience, hence the reshoots. This movie was filmed last year, I guess they are trying to punch up the movie with chase scenes and the like... sounds like a sub-par production.. probably rushing the reshoots because she has to hurry back to finish the other 4 or 5 movies she'll probably finish in the next 6 months. And I don't doubt that she will drag down this Aussie movie... havent really heard or read up on the strory line for that movie... no doubt it involves another deep loss to her character, in which she must struggle to overcome the grief..and etc and etc... Does that sound familiar?

TMZ.com has the video of the accident on the set of Invasion, it seems the car was being pulled on a rig, with a couple of "zombies" on top of the car, when the rig turned too sharply and banged the car on the side of a railing... anyways.. Zombies? isnt this supposed to be sci-fi? Well they must be hungry for brains... well, sorry dudes, they'll be none of those in this movie, I'm sure.
...and i saw this at aint it cool news about the epic" Australia"... "
..."he's telling an epic story that follows, "an English aristocrat (Kidman) who inherits a sprawling ranch and reluctantly pacts with a cattle driver (Jackman) to protect her new property from a takeover plot. As the pair drive 2,000 head of cattle over unforgiving landscape, they experience the bombing of Darwin by Japanese forces."...
...Didnt audience already ignore this kidman movie when it was set in the U.S. Civil war, and was called Cold Mountain? Well, Its Deja vu... all over again...
