Importing a Tasmania’s worth of people every year : Comments

By Graham Young, published 11/9/2025

Pause the intake until housing, infrastructure and services catch up. That’s not xenophobia - it’s common sense.

What the March said was, big business and the uni-party (like, the great majority of our 227 federal reps) want mega-migration - not voters. The Albo-Ley answer? Voters, you can't have low migration, you're "too racist".

Yet still, State ABC, Traitor Rizvi, Dave Pocock, Sustainable Population Australia, on and on, urge "mature debate" and "respectful conversation". As Albo Ji himself did in 2019, before his 1.4m first-term immigration, before signing us over to Boss Modi and President Xi.

"Respectful conversation" is a grim totalitarian one-sided parody. Ley must be sacked, in favour of those like Price, Hastie, Canavan. More and better protests, it's going to take years. SPA won't help.

Canada paused high immigration last year and things seem to be on the up for the battlers.

“Australians deserve a government that puts their needs first”.

I think Australians have the government they deserve right now. They increased the power of the Albanese version of Labor even though it performed so badly in its first three years.

The use of housing and infrastructure shortages as reasons for stopping mass immigration, is falling on deaf ears. Mass immigration is a bad enough idea on its own, with its divisiveness and the damage it is doing to our culture and what it means to be Australian.

With no opposition to speak of, the government can do as it pleases; and that will eventually lead to what is only just starting - extremist action from not very nice groups who will take advantage of the obvious cowardice and uselessness of politicians.

It is sheer stupidity to keep bringing thousands more people into this overloaded country.
When ever will we realise that we DO NOT own this planet but we share it with all other animal species. We are not a better species, just a different species, than the other animal species.
Homo Sapiens is a PARASITE. We take all, live off our host and give nothing in return.
Sadly we have evolved well past the limits of our intelligence.
There are TOO MANY people.

Jacinta Price has now been sacked for telling the truth about Australia's uncontrolled immigration by her miserable Coalition's miserable leader. Oh …. that Price isn't enthusiastic about the same miserable leader was also part of the reason. Remember, Price was part of the wannabe Leader/Deputy leadership team that was rejected in favour of what will now lead the Coalition into oblivion.

The Coalition clearly does not care about the damage being done to Australia by mass immigration any more than Labor does.

It would not be surprising if Senator Price is now bitterly regretting her switch to the Liberals. She should consider another switch: to One Nation, the only party with a common-sense, a patriotic stance on immigration, and everything else in general. Both Labor and the Coalition are a disgrace.

If Price remains on the Liberal backbench, Ley is going to need eyes in the back of her head. Frankly, she should cause a spill now and go to the back bench herself; or, preferably, get out of politics altogether after her 25 years of nothingness.

Jacinta Price is a once-in-a-lifetime addition to federal politics that the idiots in the Liberal and National parties need to support if they want to be in government ever again.
