Why, Israel already has its borders, set in 1949.

Any territory beyond that, Israel promised to return in exchange for genuine peace with its surrounding Arab countries.

As for the so-called "Palestinians", surely you don't think that they want their own state - nobody is stopping them!
A state isn't a rose garden - it entails responsibilities and accountability, it limits corruption. "Palestinian" leaders like to SAY they want a state, but when opportunities arose, they escaped them all.

Besides, there would just a handful now alive who lived there before 1948 and remember the place.
Besides, none of the buildings they had there still stands. They were mainly mud-huts that melted in the rains. In their place today there now are instead roads, hospitals, schools, industries, etc.

Zionism sought to incorporate all the natives as equal citizenship in its new country, offering them progress, prosperity and much respect. That was its original vision - the indigenous people consistently refused.

Re the King David hotel, that was where the British intelligence center was located, where the criminal and operational records of the members of the Hebrew undergrounds were kept, whom the British were hoping to hang. The principal purpose of the attack was to destroy these records.

The Irgun warned the British about the coming explosion, leaving them more than sufficient time to leave the building, but not enough time to take the records with them. Some of the British personnel heed that advice and saved their life, others sadly did not and died.

It is extraordinarily amazing how many people still talk of the two state solution.

The Islamists cannot accept a two state solution because their
ancestors conquered the area in the 7th century and land once conquered
by moslems remains Islamic land forever. So the land that is Israel
must remain under Islamic control.

As I said earlier, just destroy everything that has more than two
bricks upon each other and leave the Gazans in their tents.
They would soon get fed up and leave especially if they got some sort
of assistance. They would no doubt form a new Hamas organisation but
they would not be next door to Israel.

There is no solution to these repeating wars while ever Islam remains
unreconstructed. The Koran needs a New Testament as did the bible.
I did hear of an atheist movement in Arab societies, peraps they need encouragement.

Let these Muslims have as many states as they like (or none if they don't), let them kill each other there without disruption there, so long as Israel clears out of there!
