There are a variety of opinions from both sides
of this conflict.

What bothers me is that defending the Zionist
government in Israel as having all the rights
and any criticism as anti-Semitism leaves
Israel free to entrench its own version of a
one-state solution which denies millions of
Palestinians basic rights.

Silencing Palestinians is not a particular
effective way to fight rising antiSemitism.
It undermines the moral basis of the conflict.

AntiSemitism is not wrong because it is wrong
to denigrate and dehumanize Jews.

AntiSemitism is wrong because it is wrong to
denigrate and dehumanize anyone.

And Palestinians are also Semites.

Which makes ultimately that any efforts to
fight antiSemitism that contributes to the
denigration and dehumanization of Palestinians is
no fight against antiSemitism at all.

I guess what I am trying to say is that Over
2 million people who live in Gaza, over half of
whom are children need our sympathy as well.

Humanitarian corridors must be established immediately.
The siege must end. And power be restored so hospitals
can be more than graveyards.

This should concern us more - than what some body says
on television.

It is very sad to see some of the hostages killed, but why not look at the full half-cup instead: indeed some Gazans won't make it through the release efforts, but the majority will make it through to the other end and will end up for the first time in their lives free of the horrific tyranny of Hamas. Once Hamas is no more, they will be able to open a new and peaceful page where they can have all the freedom and prosperity, dignity and respect they ever dreamt of.

The modern generation doesn't know that Israel only came into existence because of the doings of the Zionist terrorists. Those same Zionists support the Jewish settlers on the West Bank.
