There are several lessons Australians can learn from this weekend's vote.

The fact of the matter is we are all here today and now.
Whats here we have built for everyone so we should just get on with it.

We have much bigger things to sort out.
As you saw at the opera house the other night we have a developing
problem that is part of a world wide problem.
Don't think that is just a middle east thing.
It is a command to take over the world, no kidding, they really
mean it. If you think it is nonsense, just look at the UK, France and Sweden.
It is no secret, they boast about it.

So we, the Aborigine people, and the other immigrants will need to be ready.
Foxy after that look for your smelling salts ! Hi !

Foxy there are more parliamentarians claiming to be aboriginal per head of aboriginal population than whites. Just how this disenfranchise aboriginals I find hard to understand.

Indyvidual,

You said something about Foxy losing some benefits
from the loss of the Voice referendum? I'm not
sure what you mean by that. The Voice was not about
Foxy - she's not Indigenous. But, I do think
that there is a loss, which is everyone's loss - as a nation.
Especially, not recognizing our First Nations
people in the Constitution.

Australia, is the only Commonwealth country who hasn't done
it. And that's not something to be proud of.

Hi Hasbeen,

The Indigenous MPs represent their electorates.
There is no formal body speaking on behalf of
the Indigenous people. The Voice would have
given them a seat at the table to advise at the
grassroots level on what would work in their
communities so that better outcomes could be achieved
and funding directed to where it was actually needed.

But, it's been decided - "Business as usual!"

Thanks Graham Young for the article. I don't agree with all the assertions but at least you made a good attempt at covering the subject matter. Kudos.
