Party members breaking ranks might break the Liberals : Comments

By Scott Prasser, published 24/4/2023

Julian Leeser himself says he remains a loyal Liberal. This seems at odds with his behaviour.

indy,
A lot of conservatives are paranoid about cliffs that aren't actually there. They fail to understand that the hangers on and the productive are the same people in different stages of their lives. Nor do they understand that help, not abandonment, enables people to become much more productive.

'Progressive' rightly implies a positive: the inclusion of everyone!

Indy,

As you now being a non-productive I can understand your reluctance to embrace change, when life has become so free and easy for you for so many years at taxpayer expense.

What Rhain and Paul said.

Hasbeen. Good luck with your election wish. Just don't hold your breath!

No, I don't think there's many who would take up arms to defend this country. Why should they when the pollies have sold off so much of it to China and the share of the average young person is SFA.

Or perhaps you believe the homeless and the disenfranchised should take up arms to defend their homes and Chinese investments.

Evidentially Aidan is so indoctrinated he can't see the cliffs, so doesn't understand they are there waiting for the fools.

A perfect example of greenie/progressive stupidity was my grocery delivery last night. It came in 8 of the new greenie inspired paper bags plus a couple of plastic bags for the frozen & chilled stuff. The sweat of these products render paper bags useless.

These bags are heavy of course, they have to be. They even boast on them they are from 60% recycled material. Thus those paper bags had over a kilo of fresh cut wood in them, replacing the 25 grams of polyurethane plastic in the same number of the old single use bags. Great ecological saving there.

The "new" reusable plastic bags are useless things, such a lousy shape they are not even suitable for lining waste paper baskets. So the progressive result.

A kilo of trees wasted.
I now have to buy plastic bin liners on a roll to replace the old single use bags that did the job so well. These are heavier, so more plastic used.

All this because the ratbags decided to attack oil from the plastic drinking straws direction. Will these fools ever learn?

Political commentator, Paul Collits, believes that the Liberals lie about election losses; that there is something in their DNA that "blocks deep introspection", and prevents them from considering "what they have become".

The party has forgotten what it stands for, and desires power only for its own sake, completely uncoupled from any sense of core values or of appeal to ordinary voters.

All this gnashing of teeth over the 'Pig Iron' Bob Party, its dead meat but no one has bothered to bury the corpse.
