You state: "That almost no one ever acknowledged that plan ("solution" as you call it), just shows that any reasonable person can immediately see through it, how awful, ridiculous and unviable it is, and then gives it no further thought, so ridiculous that it is not even worth objecting to, so ridiculous that one does not believe that it was presented seriously in the first place rather than in jest." You shoot yourself in the foot yet once again: 1. A plan emanating from Saudi Arabia overruling Saudi foreign policy for the last 20 years is very serious and certainly not made in jest. 2. Jordan, the PLO and Hamas took it seriously enough to seemingly agree to revisions of it. I think this would be the first time these three front line players ever agreed on anything. Still unanswered - if the plan was awful, ridiculous and unviable why didn't Guterres, Wennesland, one media outlet, analyst or think tank say so? Trash it - but trying to bury it without a trace so no one has any inkling it even exists - leads to making certain conclusions that are not very flattering of the UN or the media. The UN and the international media sure have some answering to do. Any of them trying to publish their opinions of what should happen from now on and not factoring in Versions 1 and 2 of the Saudi solution will have their opinions challenged by me as being deeply flawed. They better get their act together. A new era has emerged in which the two-state solution has now been buried and the Saudi-Jordan-PLO-Hamas solution has replaced it. Implementing that solution in negotiations with Israel is now the key to ending 100 years of conflict. Israel and Saudi Arabia are already engaged in under the radar discussions and you can bet your last dollar this solution is on the agenda. You - and all OLO readers - should be praying for these negotiations to succeed. Posted by david singer, Sunday, 15 January 2023 2:54:52 PM

As a completely ON-TOPIC comment: You're wasting your keyboard typing time Yuyutsu. David's rather narrow campaign, an endless attempt of the Jewish Diaspora to alter the Middle East, against Isreal's and its neighbours' wishes will never change. It takes someone who can harness superpower pressure, like Jared Kushner, to make a difference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jared_Kushner#Middle_East_peace_plan_and_Abraham_Accords Cheers Mavs Posted by Maverick, Sunday, 15 January 2023 3:17:03 PM

Dear David,
«1. A plan emanating from Saudi Arabia overruling Saudi foreign policy for the last 20 years is very serious and certainly not made in jest.» So there's this one guy, best known as a fiction-writer, coming from the desert to speak nonsense (which indeed happens to differ from his government's position) - what's the big deal? The world naturally reacted to Shihabi with impatience, like Achish, the Philistine king: "Am I so short of madmen that you have to bring this fellow here to carry on like this in front of me? Must this man come into my house?” [1 Samuel 21:15] «2. Jordan, the PLO and Hamas took it seriously enough to seemingly agree to revisions of it.» That's what YOU claim. No evidence to it from any other source! «if the plan was awful, ridiculous and unviable why didn't Guterres, Wennesland, one media outlet, analyst or think tank say so?» Because they had better things to do in life! «but trying to bury it without a trace so no one has any inkling it even exists» Any evidence they buried anything? They just considered their time more precious and moved on. «Any of them trying to publish their opinions of what should happen from now on and not factoring in Versions 1 and 2 of the Saudi solution will have their opinions challenged by me as being deeply flawed.» Thus said the ant to the elephant, then lo and behold, the elephant didn't turn back to squash the ant... he must have been so afraid... «Implementing that solution in negotiations with Israel is now the key to ending 100 years of conflict.» Indeed, with Israel gone so would that conflict. Strangely I rather have Israel live, and that conflict continue... «Israel and Saudi Arabia are already engaged in under the radar discussions and you can bet your last dollar this solution is on the agenda.» Neither of us have a clue of what they discuss, but yes, Netanyahu is one who is capable of selling his mother at the fish-market and his soul to the devil. Kushner certainly tried to make a difference - but the 2020 Trump Peace Plan has also been trashed by the 2022 Saudi-based Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine solution (HKOPS). Your advice to #Yuyutsu is welcome. Hope he takes it. Rest assured my "narrow campaign" (your words) to end 100 years of conflict between Jews and Arabs will continue. Still waiting to hear your opinion on Versions 1 and 2 of HKOPS. You might let me know if there has ever been a better plan produced by anyone - anywhere - for resolving the conflict Posted by david singer, Monday, 16 January 2023 2:15:17 PM

You shoot yourself in the foot once again - displaying no understanding at all of the importance of the Saudi solution. You claim that the author of the plan Ali Shihabi is "one guy, best known as a fiction-writer, coming from the desert to speak nonsense (which indeed happens to differ from his government's position) - what's the big deal?" The big deal is that Shihabi is a close confidant of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister - Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) - and a member of MBS's Advisory Board on the development of Neom - a US$500 billion megacity the size of Israel being presently constructed in north- west Saudi Arabia. Why would MBS have a " a fiction-writer, coming from the desert to speak nonsense" advising him on such a massive project? Yes - you got one thing right: The plan trashes Saudi Arabia's position held since 2002. Do you know what happens to Saudis who criticise Saudi policy without Government permission? Google "Jamal Khashoggi" to find out. You really would do yourself a favour if you took #Maverick's advice: "You're wasting your keyboard typing time Yuyutsu." Your time wasted in posting lengthy nonsensical comments lacking in facts and perspective would be better used looking for the needle in the haystack - Version 2 of the Saudi solution. If you are stupid enough to keep challenging my assertion that a later revised version of the Saudi plan exists - do so at your peril. You will only look more stupid than you are already when you find the needle. If you spend enough time - you will be the second person in the world after me to have found it. We can share the winners podium with the third person who finds it. Please let me address you in terms similar to the words of Achish, the Philistine king whom you quoted: "Am I so short of madmen that you have to bring this fellow #Yuyutsu here to carry on like this in front of me? Must this man #Yuyutsu come into my house?” Go needle-searching #Yuyutsu... Posted by david singer, Monday, 16 January 2023 3:20:22 PM

The existence of Version 1 was never contested.
That almost no one ever acknowledged that plan ("solution" as you call it), just shows that any reasonable person can immediately see through it, how awful, ridiculous and unviable it is, and then gives it no further thought, so ridiculous that it is not even worth objecting to, so ridiculous that one does not believe that it was presented seriously in the first place rather than in jest.
As for Version 2, you say that it was exclusively revealed to you and I trust your sincerity in believing that this occurred while you were awake. Anyway, next time you see him, please say hello for me to Archangel Gabriel.
