By Scott Prasser, published 30/11/2021

The proposed Senate inquiry was questionable because it indicated a lack of trust by the Coalition parties in the ABC’s process.

the current Chair has raised considerable money for the Liberal Party. What more do you want?
SteeleRedux,
What a pi$$-poor argument ! The ABC is instrumental in destroying our society at a cost of over a Billion/year. Is that what you want ?

Makes no difference, the worlds eating itself anyway.
They're all so busy pushing their virtue signalling agendas, they don't see how they've become a bunch of hypocrites when all their virtue signalling crap collides.

- The first 2 articles I read.
Article 1:

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-12-02/qld-coronavirus-covid-domestic-violence-coercive-control-report/100666744

"The former president of the Court of Appeal has now handed her report into how to legislate against coercive control to the government and we will see it shortly."
Coercive Control - BAD

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-12-02/omicron-shows-the-cost-of-vaccine-disparity-between-nations/100666678

"Wealthy countries have been shamed into making pledges to donate large numbers of doses to low- and middle-income countries. But few of these pledges have yet translated into vaccines in arms."

Shamed? Isn't that Coercive Control?

http://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29609677/
Relationships Between Shame, Restrictiveness, Authoritativeness, and Coercive Control in Men Mandated to a Domestic Violence Offenders Program
"Findings suggest that shame plays a role in the commission of coercively controlling behavior both directly and partially through its influence on authority but not through restrictiveness."

So it's ok for the global community to shame ENTIRE NATIONS
- And what exactly do we think the government has been doing for 18+ months, with vaccine mandates, lockdowns etc?
It's ok for governments to use Coercive Control on it's CITIZENS.

- Funny, there was no mention of that stuff in the article.

Moral to the story - the world is eating itself, with its retarded virtue signalling hypocrisies.

Interesting though apparently ALL men aren't bad anymore,
Maybe that means all men aren't rapists after all?

"A spin off from a patriarchal system is that men are particularly effective change agents," Ms McMurdo said.
(Are these people completely retarded? They want pro-women-men to destroy the 'patriarchal' system. It's hilarious.)
"And male leaders who call out sexist behaviour are more favourably regarded because of it. For all you good men change-agents, it's a win-win!"

I'm just going to go and tuck sausage and beans between my legs like a good accepted male would... NOT.

Dear individual,

Destroying our society? Don't be daft. Where did you hear that from, the young Libs?

Dear Chris Lewis,

You may be under a small misapprehension. News agencies really aren't the source are they, rather they report using sources.

If the ABC isn't worse than others which would you put on par?

And "tone" really isn't a decent basis for concluding they are biased, especially as the Murdock media empire is very good at setting that tone in people.

SR,

It was great that you admitted that the ABC is biased.

Perhaps you could mention another news organisation that gets $1bn from taxpayers or whose charter requires them to remain unbiased?

If the ABC didn't get this huge pile of cash from the taxpayers I would not give a crap.

If OLO wants a comedian, Steelredux, Graham Young will get a proper, funny one.

If the ABC is not biased, how come so many of it's defenders claim that the ABC may be biased but by doing so it gives an opposing view to right wing media?

Your logic is bankrupt.

The quickest way to "FIX" the ABC would be to give it, lock stock & barrel to the staff. That way we would quickly find out how much advertising or subscribers it could gather.

Those huge salaries for the self satisfied garbage they flood the air with at our expense, would find out very quickly their true value.
