Why Porter can’t claim victory after dropping ABC defamation case : Comments

By Augusto Zimmermann, published 3/6/2021

The case was always going to be difficult to prove because it rested primarily on whether a casual reader would know 'beyond any doubt' that the unnamed cabinet minister was actually Porter.

I have never seen a weaker man make a weaker speech. Since his 'problems' have emerged, Porter has been exposed as a patsy, easily fooled and used by women. He has humiliated himself, not the dreadful ABC, who will remain on the taxpayer teat longer than he does, continuing to make fools of his kind and the Liberal government because he and that government do not have the courage, nor the conviction, to deal with the corporation.

Some sympathy for Porter initially, none now. Another big win for the ABC over the weak Liberals, whom they need fear no more than they do their Labor mates.

Porter should have kept his trap shut. Then he might have had a case against anyone who actually identified him. The ABC were not quite so stupid. His ego let him down.

Yes, David. Silly people are too silly to know they are silly.

Hi ttbn & VK3AUU,

Sad but true. Sadly almost all Australian male politicians & public servants are weak men, easily used or abused by the Marxist Matriarchy.

No Australian child will be safe until the Marxist Matriarchy is back in the kitchen where they belong.

But fear not...

After the Communist Chinese & Fascist Indonesian Muslims successfully colonise Australia the Marxist Femi-nazis will be completely domesticated.

UCSR or Union of Chinese Socialist Republics = Double + Good...

For the males who take over from us western weaklings, after our colonisation is complete.

Just remember it will be YOUR grand-daughters on their knees before their new patriarchal leaders.

Agree! Porter, I believe, self-identified by going bananas and threatening defamation. He has adroitly avoided fronting court and had an internal investigation into his character, pigeon-holed by parliament.

I would suggest he consider his future and life after politics. The old boy's club will probably sort something for him? A few board appointments and so on? Without bias.

Some "victory", when the person who first brought the suit gets demoted, and hastily withdraws the suit, having won no damages. Unless he counts it as a "victory", that his legal team managed to circulate further smears against the (defenceless) alleged victim. What a chivalrous gent.

We come back to the question mainstream press doesn't want to pursue. Why did NSW Police suddenly pull the plug on their probe, at Deputy Commissioner level? They can't object, if I continue to assume it was a political stitch-up.
