Democrats impeaching Trump fuel hatred, division and violence : Comments

By David Singer, published 9/2/2021

The first unsuccessful impeachment of Trump was a major contributing factor in the Democrats seeing their 235-199 control of the House of Representatives reduced to 220-212.

Both LM and SR tell me that 5 people died in the riot as though that somehow is proof that Trump incited revolution. Quite how that logic follows is something that is left unexplained...I guess one needs a TDS filter to follow that logic if that's what you call it.

(BTW 5 people died....3 from heart attack, obviously Trump's fault; one shot in the face by some unknown 'defender' of the Congress; and one such 'defender' from causes the government refuses to divulge - when they hide stuff like that you know you're being played.)

(Oh and think of all those who 'almost' died. AOC tells her flying monkeys how she came within seconds of death from the rioters. That she wasn't even there is a mere unimportant detail.)

So I'm still waiting for one of the TDS crowd to show me the part of the speech where Trump tells people to invade Congress and overthrow the government. Crickets....

Oh, I see...he said "fight". And that can have only one meaning - literally physically fighting. It couldn't possibly have other meanings...nosireee.

One definition from Webster's dictionary of the word fight..."to put forth a determined effort"

But fear not, I'm sure the Ministry of Truth is working to retrospectively change that definition.

In completely unrelated news, Anthony Albanese, talking of the upcoming election says it'll be a "battle" and a "fight". Obviously he's preparing to overthrow the government in a coup - there's no other possible meaning to those words./sarc off

SR,

You can't help yourself, once again you start with the insults.

"You whinged: "

This makes you sound as retarded as Greta Thunberg.

To actually deal with the issue, the Democrats have unilaterally removed a duly elected republican congresswoman from access to decision-making committees for comments made on Twitter well before she was elected and from which she has subsequently resiled and in doing so have set a dangerous precedent.

This particular congresswoman that you describe as "Batsht crazy" is no worse than some of the more extreme Democrat congresswomen such as AOC.

When the Republicans had control of the house in spite of some outrageous comments by members of the Democratic "squad", none were subjected to such sanctions. This partisan abuse of power has set a dangerous precedent which the Republicans are likely to use to beat the Democrats when they regain control of the congress.

As for some of the snippets of Trump's speech that you have quoted, none of them call for the storming of the Capitol building. The charge of incitement is yet another feeble kangaroo court.

The frailty of the Democrats case has been highlighted by:

-The need by the Democrats to edit evidence (this would normally get lawyers disbarred.)
- The need for the house democrats to exhort the senate to ignore 1st amendment rights
- The inability of the democrats to produce a single court case precedent to show that Trump's speech was even illegal.

The democrats are looking even more stupid and censorious than usual.

The Democrats are now in charge of the Department of Justice. If they really think that Trump was inciting an insurrection, why hasn't he been criminally charged? There is a convention that former presidents should not be charged for what they did in office, but it is just a convention, and a president inciting rebellion is also unprecedented. If Trump were found guilty, he would be in jail or even executed. Even if he were pardoned by a future Republican president, he could never run for office again due to the 14th Amendment.

I don't support a lot of what Trump did, especially with respect to the environment and the pandemic, but this impeachment reminds me of the show trials in the old Soviet Union. You are not responsible for what your more unhinged supporters may do when you rant about something.

Once again I find myself reading in disbelief, some of the comments putting Trump down.
First and foremost, this was a grand finale to one of the most unjustly attacked and vilified people, in the history of mankind, let alone a US President.
I must remind all you anti-Trumpers, that he did NOT incite anything.
The group of scum hiding within the shadows of the WEF, have been the force behind the relentless attacks and accusations and allegations, regarding EVERYTHING about him personally and his performance as POTUS.
No one has even mentioned the fact that the Democraps are the real guilty party here, and have always been so.
The stupid one eyed ideological and subjective foolish left, choose to purposely ignore some of the MANY riots and mayhem that the left have thrust on an unsuspecting and innocent public, that collectively amount to many, many more casualties and incalculable destruction of PRIVATE property, not Govt property, which belongs to the public anyway, if you want to think like a Democrap.
So before anyone even thinks about bagging Trump, think long and hard about what the left actually did, and very little if anything at all, was done about it, that would even come close to the punishment being suggested on the guys at capitol hill.
Has anyone heard anything about the suspicion that there were Dems amongst the rioters, and it was they who incited the people there.
What I saw on the video of the event were people casually and curiously walking up some stairs, (WHEN INSIDE) almost as if they were lost, until people started up, but most just held back, unless challenged physically by the police.
Otherwise it was nothing like the reports of the day.
Oh sure, there was vandalism, and some disgusting acts of urinating.
As usual, anything Trump has to be exaggerated to get any traction from the plebs.
All that matters is that the truth came through in the end, and now he can come back to continue "Making America Great Again"!
