This has been the summer when we have been forced to see what we have collectively sought to avoid.

I would just like to say most of what she has said is nonsense and wrong. Her solutions are so preposterous they will never be called on. It is of no consequence as life will go on.
I only say this so people like Lynn know there are people who hold completely opposite views. Her latte sipping mates in the inner city all agree with her so she thinks there is a consensus.
I live in the Latrobe Valley and the air around the brown coal plants is cleaner than her inner city air.
Hey Lynn we should start by banning all YOUR air travel and cutting all heating and cooling to schools who are worried about global warming, climate change, climate emergency, what is it called this week?

The most important immediate step would be to legislate that every person has one, and one only, naturally conceived child.
If not done the homo sapiens population will continue to grow and grow and grow and grow until we eventually eat ourselves out of house and home.

Ateday, see your Mum and ask her to get some information on the Chinese "One child" policy. She may be able to explain it to you because I will not even try to.

Dear oh dear. Lyn is a pyschologist. Basing most of her gw assertions on lies and hysteria I would hate to see the advice she gives for mental health. Her fear mongering and assertions among the young and gullible would certainly help more people seeking help.

All this hysteria about bushfires yet every year half the Kimberley burns down and has been doing so as long as living memory can remember and beyond.Somehow this never makes headlines, no one ever talks about climate change causing the fires and no one talks about the fires contributing to air pollution.
Some of the fires have natural causes but many occur because aboriginal people are total firebugs and love nothing more than setting a match to dry undergrowth. These fires get out of hand and can burn for days or weeks, only rating a mention when they occur near a town.
I’m not sure why indigenous people would be traumatised by the death of animals by fire, after all, the reason they light fires was to make animals more accessible to kill and eat. Fire was always a hunting tool. Nor did they have the ability to control fires if conditions changed, they didn’t have the equipment or water to fight fires.
I will take notice of alarmists when they start reducing their personal dependence on electricity and thus reduce the power requirements. And that includes restricting the size of their families
