Security Council and Quartet silence dooms Palestinian two-state solution : Comments

By David Singer, published 12/2/2016

Reacting to 'occupation' can never justify the murder of Israeli civilians in their own homes, shopping in supermarkets, meeting in bars, or waiting at bus stops.

Your attempt to equate murder of innocent civilians with innocent civilian lives lost during a war is rejected.

You seem to be unable to grasp that Jews have every right to live in their biblical, ancestral and legally sanctioned homeland called Judea and Samaria on land purchased by them from Arab vendors or on State lands and waste lands not required for public purposes

Take off your Jew-hating blinkers and educate yourself on the facts. Yes Arabs have claims too but they want every square inch - hardly the stuff that negotiations can ever hope to achieve. They had it all between 1948-1967 after they drove out all the Jews living there and did nothing to create the State they say they now want in 2016.

The two-state solution being negotiated between Israel and the PLO to achieve that State between Israel and Jordan for the last 23 years is dead and buried.

The two-state solution between Jordan and Israel dividing sovereignty of Judea and Samaria between them waits patiently on the sidelines as the only possible solution to resolve the 100 years ongoing conflict between Arabs and Jews.

Lots of words but none condemning the murder of civilians in Israel by Arabs. Your relatives are in line for such attacks. Shame on you for remaining silent.

#plantaganet

Stabbing old ladies in the back should not happen in the Middle East or anywhere else and you should be condemning such acts as murder pure and simple and those who do so as murderers.
Doing a "Ban ki-Moon" does not sit well with you.

#Prompete

Pity the likes of # Rhrosty, Yuyutsu and plantaganet are not prepared to address the issues raised in my articles. Their asinine comments only destroy their own credibility. Facts obviously mean nothing to them.

#Armchair Critic
Care to provide the facts to substantiate your claim (made twice)that the land comprised in Judea and Samaria is owned by the Palestinian Arabs?

Your crude language and ad hominem attack only serves to show your inability to really rebut or rationally discuss anything in my article.

Have sense of humour Singer

You seem to attack any who bother to comment on your repeditive articles - not knowing friends, enemies of neutrals - then alienating all.

Don't bother writing more Netanyahu puff pieces.

Dear David,

<<Lots of words but none condemning the murder of civilians in Israel by Arabs. Your relatives are in line for such attacks.>>

Sharks, lions, crocodiles, snakes, spiders, they all bite because it's their nature to do so: what's the point in condemning them?

Of course one needs to do what they can to defend oneself and one's family from their attacks and few want so more than myself as my relatives live within their range, but trying instead to appeal to their missing conscience would be as futile as pleading with a crocodile.

In my response to Rhrosty I mentioned the wall as one very effective tool to protect my relatives:

"Due to that wall, Israel no longer have terrorists and car-bombs exploding in its restaurants, schools and buses. The wall on its Egyptian border prevented not only car-bombs but also half a million African refugees from entering, with many Al-Qaeda and Islamic-State infiltrators hiding among them."

I want this wall strengthened and completed, further isolating the citizens of Israel from Arab attacks, but it seems that you don't like this wall (have you ever mentioned it at all? I checked this and your previous 10 articles, but found no mention of it!). Is it perhaps because you don't want Israel to be defined by a border? Is it perhaps because you care not at all for the state of Israel and its people, only for the expansionist interests of your Jewish sect, expecting the citizens of Israel, my family included, to fulfil them with their blood rather than yours?

Pay attention to Yuyutsu's questions Singer.

You talk about Rhrosty and "Jew hating". But fact is your self-righteous tone gets people angry

- angry towards you and your poorly communicated causes.

#plantagenet

You state:
"Have a sense of humour Singer"
Murder is not a subject that lends itself to humour. Diverting attention from my article is also not funny.

My article states:
"Failing again to call such stabbings, vehicle rammings and other targeted attacks on Israeli civilians as “murder” - was reprehensible.

I ask you : are you prepared to call such acts "murder" and those who perpetrate them as "murderers"?

I did regard you as a neutral - but no longer if you do not reply "yes"

You further state:
"Don't bother writing more repetitive Netanyahu puff pieces"

With respect it is none of your business to tell me what I should write about. If you find my articles not to your liking then don't read them.

#Yuyutsu

We are not talking about sharks, lions, spiders, snakes and crocodiles. We are talking about human beings taking the lives of other human beings by stabbing, vehicle rammings and other targeted attacks.

I therefore ask you - as I asked #plantaganet: are you prepared to call the stabbings, vehicle rammings and other targeted attacks "murder" and those who perpetrate them as "murderers"?

I am not appealing to the murderer's conscience as those committing these murders do not have a conscience. I am appealing to yours.

I do not intend to respond to your comments made to #Rhrosty regarding the security barrier ( incorrectly called "the wall" by you) as I have made it clear on many occasions that I will only reply to comments that relate directly to the article in question.

In response to your direct question as to whether I have mentioned the security barrier in any of my articles - the short answer is "yes".

You just haven't gone back far enough in your research.

#plantaganet (again)

People get angry when they cannot dispute facts that deny their wild and unsubstantiated claims. Then ad hominem attacks and personal vilification becomes their line of attack - a complete waste of time and space.

Their conduct is consistent and predictable and their "Jew-hatred" is out there for all to see.

OK D. Singer

Yes.

And I won't add a moderate voice which has protected you from some anti-Semites again.
