We 'so do', as the chocolate commercial goes, need new conservative options; preferably not the tattoed bikie type, which puts true conservatives right off. The Q-based ALA seems to want to be one of the new right parties. I expect the ALA to be more general than the Q Society. Its manifesto (available onlline) indicates that this will be the case. The Q Society seems to be preoccupied with anti-Islamism. While I am individually anti-Islam as many others are, I'm not sure that a group or party, based on one issue, is healthy or helpful.
Our Prime Minister's uninformed views of Islam, and the fact that Muslim leaders welcome his attitude "with open arms" is very bad news for Australia. The recent, invented concept of 'multiculturalism' forced on us by politicians (well, Malcolm Fraser) without consultation has proved what many of us already knew - that it is dangerous and divisive- by the advent of mass Muslim immigration, a KNOWN tool of intended world - rule by Islam. We had a perfectly fair and decent immigration policy with no racial discrimination. All RACES are equal; all CULTURES are NOT equal, as Islam shows beyond all doubt. We are speaking of a group here who defeated the Russians in Afghanastan, and confounded the Americans in Iraq.
This is a group with a collective amazing ability to survive. Best of luck Australia, you have no hope! Posted by diver dan, Thursday, 15 October 2015 10:17:50 AM

ttbn, without government intervention and the purposeful importation of fully subsidised migrants or partially subsidised students immigration would quickly fall away to almost zero as it did in the mid 1970's.

Muslim immigration of the Islamic faith needs to be stopped immediately, We have taken in enough immigrants from that part of the world.
These people are dealing with culture shock, They had come from a repressive society, and new no other way of life. The Muslim men are the woman’s mentor, and ruler. Why can’t the Koran be modified to fit in with their chosen new land. Australian law does not tolerate certain aspects of the Koran, so our leaders have got to make progress in working with the Muslim leaders to make amends to Islamic faith so it complies with Australian law. You can not be taught one thing but not allowed to put it into practice. We need an Australian Islamic Koran. Demonstrations or hatred against these people are not serving us as a nation, it is the failing of successive governments to address the problem of assimilation, when they are being taught something different altogether. The lesson from our recent past is that ignoring them, or denigrating them, or attempting to marginalise them, won’t result in harmony, but a political explosion. That is a lesson that the minority, as much as the majority, needs to heed. One platform political parties are only going to spread hatred against a breed of people. Our politicians can bring about change in the way these people are taught. This is where pressure is needed to solve this problem. All islamic muslims are teachable for new ideals and still have their Australian Islamic faith Posted by doog, Thursday, 15 October 2015 11:00:37 AM

Again, I'll challenge anyone to post an Koranic law that does not have a similar law in the full bible. As with all stone age religions its more about how people choose it to mean now then what it may have meant in the past.
As the new political parties, what are they going to try to bring back the white Australian policy? It's funny how easily freedom loving people are willing to reduce other peoples freedoms. Posted by Cobber the hound, Thursday, 15 October 2015 12:00:57 PM

Jay,
"ttbn, without government intervention and the purposeful importation of fully subsidised migrants or partially subsidised students immigration would quickly fall away to almost zero as it did in the mid 1970's" If you are saying that our current immigration policy is crazy, I agree. Hound, Are you talking about the Old of New Testament. I am not a bible thumper, and have only read bits of it. The 10 Commandments are good enough for me, although I'm a bit lax on a couple of those. If you are talking about the Old Testament, yes, there is some wild-man talk in that. But, the New Testament is different, and you will not see anything much like Islam, I think. And, where do you get this idea that anybody wants to bring back the WAP? Race and colour don't come into the discussion. It's all about a vile religion and way of life practised by many races and colours. It is totally at odds with our society, and we are in danger. Diver Dan, Addressing Australia as "you" indicates that you are not one of us. Is that correct? Australia has "no hope" only if our apathetic politicians don't get their act into gear. Islam beat Russia in a Muslim country. We are not a Muslim country, and there are only roughly 500,000 thousand of them here. With a PM who actually knows about Islam, there would be no problem at all. Let's hope Turnbull gets stabbed in the back as he stabbed Abbott in the back - and sooner rather than later. Muhammad was a military leader, laying siege to towns, massacring the men, raping their women, enslaving their children, and taking the property of others as his own. On several occasions he rejected offers of surrender from the besieged inhabitants and even butchered captives. He inspired his followers to battle when they did not feel it was right to fight, promising them slaves and booty if they did and threatening them with Hell if they did not. Muhammad allowed his men to rape traumatized women captured in battle, usually on the very day their husbands and family members were slaughtered.
The early Islamic principle of warfare was that the civilian population of a town was to be destroyed (ie. men executed, women and children taken as slaves) if they defended themselves and resisted Islamic hegemony. Although modern apologists often claim that Muslims are only supposed to "attack in self-defense", this oxymoron is flatly contradicted by the accounts of Islamic historians and others that go back to the time of Muhammad. Their understanding of Islam comes from what they are taught by others. In the West, it is typical for believers to think that their religion must be like Christianity - preaching the New Testament virtues of peace, love, and tolerance - because Muslims are taught that Islam is supposed to be superior in every way. They are somewhat surprised and embarrassed to find that this is contradicted by the Quran and the bloody history of Islam's genesis. For their part, Western liberals would do well not to sacrifice critical thinking to the god of political correctness, or look for reasons to bring other religion down to the level of Islam merely to avoid the existential truth that this it is both different and dangerous. There are just too many Muslims who take the Quran literally... and too many others who couldn't care less about the violence done in the name of Islam Posted by doog, Thursday, 15 October 2015 12:44:47 PM

In early September when the then Abbott Government decided to take in 12,000 Syrian refugees the Government made clear that most would be Christian and other non-Muslims.
But pressure from Muslim groups "Islamic leaders have lashed out at suggestions by the federal government to preference Christian refugees" http://www.smh.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/syrian-migrant-crisis-australian-islamic-leaders-label-christian-refugee-preference-as-bigoted-20150908-gjhvjl.html may have changed the Government's mind. Now the Turnbull Government seems to have forgotten the preference for Christians who are more compatible with the Australian community. Looks like Australia is getting a new wave of Muslims, from the warzone, in a rush. Posted by plantagenet, Thursday, 15 October 2015 1:14:32 PM

Dear Doog,
<<Muhammad was a military leader>> The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was probably a saint who lived in a cave, in isolation and never used a sword or led people. He certainly did not write the Koran. Whatever you read in the Koran and Hadith about him, his life and his teachings, is a later invention, no earlier than around the year 790, about 160 years after he died, when a deadly cult, now known as "Islam", selected about 3,000 pages out of 100,000 (that is 3%) containing stories and rumours of all sorts about Muhammad, in order to suit their own militant ideas. Muslims should find out about this and follow their beloved prophet, rather than the cult who stole his identity. (Source: Robert Spencer, who wrote many books about Islam and whose many clips about Islam you can watch on youtube) Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 15 October 2015 2:22:52 PM

And exactly how are Christians form this region and more or less compatible to Australian culture. Christians have much the same custom's.

The topic begins: "Concerns about immigration should not be ignored".
And then goes on to say: "Growing unease about Muslim immigration should be a part of our political conversation." I would argue that we should not be selective and look at all situations regarding immigration. I am concerned about these, in the context, that they don't get enough conversation, including in the media. A large percentage of focus is simplistically given to a Muslim element, whilst other elements are not taken on board or even spoken about broadly. One example involved an Adelaide man fighting to keep a pregnant Russian girlfriend here in Australia. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/news/south-australia/adelaide-man-fights-to-keep-pregnant-russian-girlfriend-here/story-e6frea83-1226652602806 Many had commented online (about the couple) in a previous element re this story and said the couple, should not be "broken up" or the child "sent back to Russia" while a few had said the move (relating to the above story - and the women being allowed to stay in Australia) would set a dangerous precedence. I'm sure there are also plenty of other situations, involving immigration, where people have wanted to stay in Australia - and they are not linked to any culture, religion or faith - but as many may see it, that's the simple "talk factor" getting a lot of coverage, whilst other immigration issues, get very little or no media coverage, public debate or discussion at all. Where you say "I would much prefer to see the rise of Islam than the rise of Liberalism.." Would you prefer a theocracy where an Ayatollah, Imam or Wahabi King ruled Australia rather than a "Liberal" Prime Minister. Note that the ALP or Greens could be described as small "l" liberals as well. Would you also prefer Sharia Law over secular law. With Sharia Law, in places like Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, not opposing the "honour" killing of young girls by male thugs using acid or stoning? I have been watching the Australian Liberty Alliance party for a while.
They seem to understand that the UPF style will not go down with the voter and seem to be made up of average type of people. They have said that it is no use having a party that really is just a one policy party, and that they need to develop policies over the complete range of government responsibilities. They have very definite ideas on moslem immigration and will attempt to have it stopped. They seem to be quite moderate and I think they could succeed as far as minor parties can. I think they have the right idea and I am considering joining. Posted by Bazz, Thursday, 15 October 2015 4:29:17 PM

Dear Dan,
I am with you on being "in it, but not of it", but I cannot see what problem you have with liberalism? Liberalism is probably the best assurance that one can freely practice their religion. Is that a bad thing? If there are restrictions on religious freedom in Australia, then it is due to the lack of liberalism, not because of it. --- Dear Bazz, The issue of Muslims and their immigration is not even on my priority-list, so if you want your new party to succeed in getting my vote/preference, then please make sure they have a policy to decriminalise riding a bicycle without wearing a pot over one's head. Oh Dear Oh Dear; Yuyutsu, That is priceless;
Here we are arguing about the survival of civilisation and you are worried about having to wear a helmet. One argument I heard about helmets is that the health service gets a large part of the medical bills. I have no great interest in that. Posted by Bazz, Thursday, 15 October 2015 5:29:22 PM

Dear Bazz,
Since you take no interest in my inability to ride a bicycle, which prevents me from being fitter and healthier and causes me to be bereft of transportation if my car breaks down or when it is being repaired or serviced, then I take no interest in your little Muslim problem and the survival of your civilisation - that same civilisation which prohibits me to ride a bicycle. P.S. I pay for my medical bills myself - I refuse to receive any money or benefits from the state. Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 15 October 2015 6:15:21 PM

Yuyutsu, seeing as I can no longer vote liberal, I'm considering voting for the first party to make bike riding on public roads illegal. Now that, along with outlawing Muslim immigration, would be a good basis for a party, much better than this green rubbish.
On the other hand, I do have some sympathy with divers position. The rise of Islam will definitely cure the problem of the current feminist takeover. It will also get rid of the homosexual marriage controversy, probably by simply getting rid of the homosexuals. It will save a fortune by getting all those silly girls out of universities, where they obviously have no place, & fix my pet hate, those simpering, silly, long bottle blond straight haired girls, pretending to be TV journalists. My only worry is I hate dirty, dusty, bare feet in sandals, but I guess I could manage even that when they get women out of parliament. Where do I join? There you are Suse, & the other girls, have a go at that. Posted by Hasbeen, Thursday, 15 October 2015 8:02:34 PM

Diver Dan,
Do you mean "Liberalism" or liberalism? Are you referring to the Liberal Party? There is no such proper noun as Liberalism. The common noun liberalism refers to libertarianism, latitudinarianism, broad-mindedness, open-mindedness, toleration, tolerance, unbigotedness. (Roget). I don't believe that you are against those things. Islam is against those things, so I suppose you could be too. Now you might not like the government - although I thought all the Lefties liked Turnbull the Backstabber - but most of those characteristics are shared by the Liberal Party. Even their partners, the Nationals, would share those ideals. Even Labor pretends it does, and is certainly more liberal than Islam But you prefer Islam! Amazing! What the hell are you doing living in a Western democracy? There are a number of 'nice' Islamic countries where you could have what you want - and deserve. Doog, you asked about changing the Koran.
Sorry that is forbidden at pain of death. Islam may eventually destroy itself. They have a number of disadvantages, they suppress the intellectual vitality of half their population. Cousin marriage has given them a lower average IQ. Their economy has an ongoing higher expense for disabled persons. They rely on the tax on infidels. However to avoid the tax eventually businessmen pretend to convert. This reduces their government revenue. Corruption in their ecomomy is endemic. Dictatorships are fundamentally unstable and a theological dictatorship may be no different. The Islamic countries in the current times are richer and have more resources than they have ever had. All this will end as their oil income declines. Already Saudi Arabia has a financial problem due to the lower income. It will probably rise again before it declines permanently. When that happens the Middle East will become an agricultural economy mainly intent on supporting their own populations. Islam like Christianity has developed schisms that have existed for 1400 years. Christianity developed, after a couple of hundred years, a method of coexistence. The rigidity of Islam appears to me to be related to their intellectual disabilities and their inability to compromise and have tolerance. Is Berlin the new "Gates of Vienna" ? Can we hold them off until they collapse under their own theologial fascist system ? Posted by Bazz, Thursday, 15 October 2015 10:26:04 PM

//Since you take no interest in my inability to ride a bicycle//
Your inability to ride a bicycle? Are you that top heavy that adding a very light helmet will throw off your balance and prevent you from cycling? //that same civilisation which prohibits me to ride a bicycle.// Nobody is preventing you from cycling, Yuyutsu. They aren't even preventing you from cycling with an exposed head, if that is so important to you. It's just that if you get caught cycling without a helmet you'll cop a modest fine. It's up to you to decide whether your freedom to cycle sans helmet is more or less important to you than your money. Of course, the easiest and most sensible option is to avoid getting caught, which really isn't hard if you pick your cycling route carefully. In my part of the world there are lots of cycleways and none of them are patrolled by police. Posted by Toni Lavis, Thursday, 15 October 2015 10:43:56 PM

Yet another anti-Muslim rant/fear-fest, as responses to an article that asks the questions most Australians ask.
The horse has already bolted boys! We already have quite a few both Australian born and migrant Muslims living in Australia. All these people are Australians like anyone else. They will have friends and relatives living overseas in very many countries. Can you imagine, on one of your less paranoid days, what all these other people and countries will think if Australia says 'Yes, we will take immigrants, but not Muslims.'? They may well refuse to trade with us (think oil) or allow tourism or investment in Australia. Or worse, they could become quite aggressive towards us. While we can legitimately refuse entry to anyone suspected of terrorism, or being in contact with any criminals, or indeed any crime, we can't just make a blanket statement that we won't allow people of such a popular religion to come to Australia if they are able to tick all the immigration papers boxes correctly. The new PM is absolutely doing the right thing by being inclusive of law-abiding Australians who practice the Muslim religion, yet clamping down on anyone even suspected of committing or supporting any violence or terrorism in our community. Dear Toni,
Riding around in fear with eyes in my back as if I'm a thief is not my cup of tea, it's also not good for the heart and blood-pressure to have that constant anxiety of being caught. And if being caught, the main penalty is not the money, but having to walk home all the way (holding the bike), regardless of weather and distance, or missing some important appointment because the police would keep hovering and not allow me to proceed on bike. Also the shock on being caught and having to face the police, that is when the adrenalin kicks to prepare for fight-or-flight, the blood rushes out the liver and it feels like a strong kick in the stomach! As for selecting cycleways, I am not interested in riding for fun, but in order to arrive where I need to arrive, especially as Plan B if my car is broken, if there is petrol-rationing or if for whatever reason I lost my license. For me it is not acceptable to be ordered to wear anything and it's not an option: I am traumatised by the army, having suffered for years as a conscript and being ordered to wear that thing (in that case to try preventing being hit by bullets and shrapnel) was part of it and brings me horror-memories back. Suse, yes we can make laws prohibiting people of certain nationality entering the country, it's been done before and the best of all nations were still able to pass the test, only the worst were excluded. Immigration restriction and mass deportation is the cheapest and by far the most humane way of dealing with problem groups, Lebanese Muslims and particularly their Australian born descendants are a problem group, they need to be dealt with as a collective.

Bazz, as one American general recently stated the army that takes on the Sunni "Jacobins" will be required to leave in their wake only ruined towns and grieving widows, the Americans and their partners don't have what it takes to do that, the Russians, Kurds, Iranians/Shia and Lebanese do.
This is not a war the Muslims can win, the Anglo Saxon powers in particular currently have about a 30,000 to 1 kill ratio against Jihadists and we know what lengths they'll go to to win a war, ask the elders of Dresden or Nagasaki. Posted by Jay Of Melbourne, Friday, 16 October 2015 6:18:52 AM

Yes Suzie, it would not be easy but it is a matter of survival.
All the niceties go out the window when it comes to that. You will have more to lose than any of "us blokes". They will not cut off our oil supplies as we do not buy any from them. They depend on us to eat. If they do not sell oil they will have major problems with their populations as everything is subsidised including employment. I suggest you study Egypt's situation. An interesting pointer to their mentality. The government held a meeting of all state police force, Federal police and other security organisations presumably to update on intelligence matters and I guess some planning. The Islamic organisations complained because they were not included ! Duhh ! That alone gives an insight into both their attitudes and intelligence. Posted by Bazz, Friday, 16 October 2015 7:18:17 AM

Jay of Melbourne speaks of 'mass deportation'.
You can't be serious? I assume you mean we should round up all Muslims in Australia and deport them all? Where to? What if these people have been living in Australia for generations? Where do we deport them to? What if they are married to non-Muslims? Are they deported too, out of association? Where to? And if these people wouldn't agree to go, would we force them at gun point onto planes, tie them down on the plane, and then force them off at the other end? The children and all? They haven't committed any crime, so I think that doing this would be an act of terrorism on Australia's part, and I would strongly react against such measures. The problem is that the federal government puts the cart before the horse and 'diversity' - which NO government has ever sought a mandate for - ahead of the public good.
If the federal government should learn anything from Rotherham UK child sex trafficking scandals, it would be that it isn't only named and court-sentenced criminal gangs and terrorists who import and introduce toxic values, traditions and behaviour to the host country. There are ethnics who are every bit as likely to present threats to the safety and wellbeing of Australians and are likely to be corrosive to the democratic traditions and freedom we value. You can take the Kashmiri out of Kashmir, but you cannot take the Kashmir toxic values, traditions and behaviour out of the Kashmiri. There is NO reason why for example, Somali or Kashmiri Muslims, especially without papers and a proved record of good behaviour (always unavailable), should be preferred and allocated priority over the many thousands of better prospects for citizenship and contribution to society (through work skills known to be in short supply, for a start). The objectives of Australia's migration program need to be restated, direct consultation entered into with the public and a new mandate sought for the policy and practices. It would be surprising indeed if voters supported the appeals system and wouldn't prefer the Dept of Immigration to have the final say instead. Rotherham You would be re-writing the findings of independent reports and history if you denied that Pakistani (Kashmir) men targeting white girls for abuse was repeatedly played down for fear of accusations of racism. Also that the UK Labour Party was involved. It is all about votes in marginal seats. tbc Posted by onthebeach, Friday, 16 October 2015 10:50:29 AM

<Rotherham: politics ‘imported from Pakistan’ fuelled sex abuse cover-up – MP Simon Danczuk says unhealthy style of politics obsessed with ‘looking after your own’ fuelled culture of cover-up in child sex abuse cases An unhealthy brand of politics “imported” from Pakistan is partly to blame for the cover-up of mass child abuse in Rotherham and other British cities, a campaigning MP has claimed. Simon Danczuk, who helped expose a pattern of grooming of white teenage girls by men from a Pakistani background in Rochdale, where he is the Labour MP, said a culture of intimidation and closing of ranks within parts of the Asian community had mired politics in towns and cities across northern England for years. He said Asian councillors were under constant pressure from the community to “conform” and other politicians acquiesced for fear of being accused of racism, failing to face up to evidence of abuse as a result. Last week a scathing inquiry report said there had been a “blatant” failure of leadership from politicians and council officials in Rotherham over the sexual abuse of at least 1,400 children over 16 years. The Rotherham scandal and a series of cases in towns including Rochdale highlighted how evidence of Pakistani men targeting white girls for abuse was repeatedly played down for fear of accusations of racism.. He said he had personally come under pressure from Asian councillors and members of the community for speaking out as well as being warned by prominent figures in his party. He pointed to the way in which two Muslim councillors in Rochdale had provided character references for one of the perpetrators of the Rochdale abuse... He described it as “a looking after your own” within the Asian community which other politicians had accepted. Ann Cryer, the former MP for Keighley, said she had come under constant pressure from the “politically correct brigade” when she raised the issue."> The common denominator: targeting of non-Muslim girls> http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religion/9314448/Its-time-to-stop-using-the-word-Asians.html Posted by onthebeach, Friday, 16 October 2015 10:52:40 AM

The outcome of the traditional presence of religion is what is leading many rejections of faiths which don't conform to those forced into us from our birth.
Religion causes much of the conflict in the world. The better solution is to reject totally the idea of some fantasy deity, and instead to rely on one's own ethics and responsibility for actions and thoughts. Posted by Ponder, Friday, 16 October 2015 11:33:35 AM

Suse,
Deport them to the Caliphate, wherever it appears, Afghanistan seems the most likely region to spawn the first stable outpost once the Taliban re take the countryside, the Syrian takeover has been complicated by Russian intervention but it's still alive. I'm not really being serious but it could be done without too much fuss and literally no one would miss them, crime would drop dramatically and it's not like they contribute anything to society which we'd miss. A better and more workable plan would be cut off their family benefits and to ban their kids from attending school past primary level, make it clear that particular ethnic groups have no future in this country, eventually the only people left would be very elderly and the "Muslim" population would disappear without any violence whatsoever. It's clear that most "good" people also loathe Islam and Muslim people it's just that they fear the solution more than the problem due to years of negative conditioning toward ethnic cleansing and religious intolerance, which is unfortunate because the "pogrom" has always been a necessary and valuable part of every truly strong, civilised society throughout history. Maybe instead of trying to make the Muslims more like us we need to be more like them or at least meet them half way, the ideas I've outlined in this post are more in the spirit of Islam than any current, realistically workable system. Call it cultural appropriation, in exchange for their greasy lamb sandwiches we'll accept the fighting spirit of the Jihad. Posted by Jay Of Melbourne, Friday, 16 October 2015 7:42:29 PM

A good thing and there should be more of it,
<Scott Morrison defends Kiwi detentions Treasurer and former immigration minister Scott Morrison Scott Morrison says New Zealanders convicted of crime in Australia have worn out their welcome. FORMER immigration minister Scott Morrison has delivered a blunt message to hundreds of New Zealanders convicted of crimes who are facing deportation from Australia. "IF you're here on a visa and you've committed sexual assault, if you're a gangster, if you're a bikie gang member, if you've engaged in physical assault or murder ... you've worn out your welcome in this country," he told reporters in Sydney on Friday. "I don't care how long you've been here." Mr Morrison's comments came as Malcolm Turnbull left for New Zealand on his first official overseas visit as prime minister... "It is very important that we maintain our standards, our security and that is why we have a very long-standing practice, it isn't applied indiscriminately and is applied with discretion," he said. Mr Morrison acknowledged there was free movement of citizens between the two nations. "But ... if you abuse that privilege, then you should have no expectation that you'd be able to stay," he said. Mr Morrison recalled that during his time as immigration minister he saw some "very grisly" cases including sexual abuse of children. He defended Australia's policy of automatically deporting visa holders who had spent more than a year in prison.> http://tinyurl.com/q8ggsay Also topical, http://tinyurl.com/NZ-Bikies-Gold-coast-Logan Posted by onthebeach, Friday, 16 October 2015 8:58:48 PM

Deporting of moslems has already started. Denmark and I think Belgium
have started deporting non nationals. In Denmark most appear to be Moroccans. I did see a comment about canceling nationalised moslems, but nothing to suggest they are doing that. I think it has been proposed that moslems that have committed a crime even if naturalised will have it canceled and deported. However in our legal system it probably would require a referendum to change the constitution. There is one trick that could be used if the deportee swore his oath of allegiance on the Koran it could be null and void because there is a clause that permits lieing to infidels. It is a wonder the courts have not picked up on that. Posted by Bazz, Friday, 16 October 2015 9:01:15 PM

OTB there are plenty of peaceful ways to get rid of criminals, even Australian born ones could be induced to leave the country for good by giving them a choice, deportation or jail or alternatively jail then deportation. The government could also strip criminals of all the privileges of living here without trampling on their "rights", for example VLAD type offenders could be given very long periods of parole, say ten years in which they are basically under house arrest, don't like it, leave the country.

For Muslims, life did not begin at birth, but a long time before that. Before even the creation of the first man. It began when God created the souls of everyone who would ever exist and asked them, "Am I not your Lord?" They all replied, "Yea."

Jay Of Melbourne,
You are right when you say that there are ways to discourage criminals (and the introduction of toxic political systems and cultural traditions), but and it is a BIG but, that relies on the government in power at the time. The public need to be asking why federal and State governments have allowed these violent, drug and gun importing gangs have been allowed to operate in Australia for over fifty years and why they rely on migrants for new blood and how they can operate internationally. Atv the same time you should bear in mind the corrupting influence of the millions being made by the OMGs every year. The very reason I draw attention to the violent, drug-dealing outlaw motorcycle gangs that are again back in cahoots with senior police in Queensland (a particular problem attacked by previous LNP Premier Newman) and rapidly expanding their drug territory, are the very obvious changes since Labor Premier Annastasia Palaszczuk's government has been in office. Many would see it as no coincidence that a Southport court let off with a slap on the wrist, the bikies who brawled violently in a public place in and outside a family restaurant in Broadbeach, Qld. Many would be aware too that one of them very soon later stands accused of running his girlfriend off the road and beating her to death, allegedly with the heavy steel cover he took from telephone relay. As in Sydney and elsewhere, the gangs are dominated by a Middle Eastern influence, many of whom are just criminals and don't even ride motorcycles. The most recent OMG from NZ is making rapid progress on the Gold Coast and Logan (see my earlier links). tbc.. Posted by onthebeach, Saturday, 17 October 2015 1:41:13 PM

contd..
However, of course Qld's new Labor Premier and by coincidence her female Police Minister, female Justice Minister, female Attorney General and her female Minister Minister for Communities, Women and Youth, Minister for Child Safety and Minister for Multicultural Affairs are all hell-bent on supporting 'bikies' rights' and on 'deep sixing' the previous government's successful anti-bikie legislation that survived bikie appeals with expensive silks all of the way up to the High Court of Australia (where the final appeal failed). While successive federal governments have, with an eye for their marginal seats, always spun the motherhood of 'Wonderful Migrants' and to the extent that migrants became sacred cows, any independent research (that would never attract a guvvy grants or support in a university) would show that all has never been rosy where migrants are concerned and there has always been a sizeable rump ho should never have been allowed into the country. Research would also show that some claimed migrants success such as the Snowy were not the successes they are touted to be either. Immigration is like the Prelate's Egg, good and bad in parts. Reviews in the UK for example have found that immigration only benefits the migrants. However, such is the political cynicism of the political parties in trying to shore up the ethnic vote in marginal seats that the ethnic tail always wags the government dog and the goals of immigration and public good are continually disregarded. Well OTB you may not have noticed that the moslem vote decided who
became President of France. The vote counting has shown that the previous incumbent would have been returned except for the vote in moslem areas of Paris. Approx 90% from memory. It appears that moslems generally vote socialist which is ironic as when they take over the first to get the chop will be the lefties for their support of women, same sex marriage and the homosexuals will go for the high jump. A similar situation seems to be on the cards in the Capital of Europe, Brussels. Anti moslem parties are gaining strength in France, Holland, Austria and most ex Eastern block countries. Bazz,
It has never been explained to the public why some groups including Muslims are being given preference above other migrants who present less risk, have needed skills and are a good match with the Australian culture. However the public realise it is a political decision and something they have never given any government a mandate for. Posted by onthebeach, Saturday, 17 October 2015 11:52:13 PM

It is a puzzle I agree.
It is I think related to politically correctness and a desire to show how unbiased we are in all our policies. I had a read about Islamic wars last night and I think it gave a good picture of why we should oppose Islam in every way we can find. Europe has been invaded by Moslems five times. India was invaded twice and occupied for some hundreds of years. The whole Middle East was invaded and occupied by the moslem Arabs. They are still there making trouble. Somewhere in the Koran it talks of occupying Rome, meaning Europe of course. I believe the Arab countries will collapse as oil sales decline and they will no longer be able to finance real wars but emigration will get a real burst and may well be a much bigger problem than the present emigration. Watch Egypt, it is in a very precarious economic situation. It has a volatile population that has already removed one dictator because he could not keep food & fuel subsidies at high levels. As the Gulf states feel the pinch of low oil prices they will stop subsidising Egypt. Posted by Bazz, Sunday, 18 October 2015 11:27:25 AM

Ha, OTB, I just finished writing the above and then read this;
http://tinyurl.com/q79b7gt This relates to Saudi Arabia in particular but it will apply to all ME oil supply. While ever the price remains well below $100 there will not be the money to finance mosques everywhere like the Saudis have been doing. They have also been financing the Sunni rebels in Syria so that will no doubt suffer a cut. The big problem might be if they cut Egypt. It could mean 45 million people on the march. Q, has Graham Young who wrote the article or anybody who has commented on it?
1, read the Quran in it's correct chronological order? http://wikiislam.net/wiki/Chronological_Order_of_the_Qur'an 2, read the second holy book of Islam, Al-sira, or biography of Mohammed? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prophetic_biography 3, read the third holy books of Islam, the Hadith? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadith if the answer to any of those questions is no? then are you qualified to argue against or disagree with people who have? Well speaking for myself, I have not read all you suggested, but I
have read various parts depending on a particular interest at the time. In any case I do not think it matters as I am interested in what they do now. Reading parts explains some thing but does not present a solution. Posted by Bazz, Sunday, 18 October 2015 10:13:14 PM

Bazz, in the Quran the principle of abrogation is even more important than it is in the bible. The peaceful parts of the O/T Quran are totally abrogated by the violent parts of the N/T Quran.
rather than reading all 114 chapters just read the first & last 6 chapters in the chronological order. Allah's intention is then crystal clear, total war by any & all means until all humanity is serving Allah. Posted by imacentristmoderate, Monday, 19 October 2015 5:48:28 AM

"Allah's intention is then crystal clear, total war by any & all means until all humanity is serving Allah"
And how do you, Imacentristmoderate, tell that this is indeed Allah's intention? By reading some books written by a gang of blood-thirsty Arabians? It seems that you too fell for it! Posted by Yuyutsu, Monday, 19 October 2015 7:45:59 AM

no, i fell for nothing, being literate, capable of reading & using a dictionary am simply agreeing with islamic clerics smarter than both of us.
Q, Who are you to tell an Imam with 4 or 5 degrees in Islamic studies from the most prestigious Islamic universities in the world, that they are interpreting their scriptures the wrong way? Posted by imacentristmoderate, Monday, 19 October 2015 8:12:10 AM

Dear imacentristmoderate,
I don't need to tell the Imam what's written in his books, which surely he knows better - I just tell him that whatever is written there, especially the violent stuff, is not from Allah. Are you saying that it is? Posted by Yuyutsu, Monday, 19 October 2015 4:12:11 PM

Yuyutsu, Whatever is written in Islamic scripture is considered by ALL Islamic clerics to be the literal word of Allah, because Mohammed said it was what Allah told him to say & do. Mohammed also is considered by ALL Islamic clerics to be the perfect human being who must be emulated.

Dear Imacentristmoderate,
Of course that's what all Islamic clerics say (well otherwise they would lose their jobs and positions), but who cares about their considerations? that's all besides the issue, which is what you wrote to Bazz: "Allah's intention is then crystal clear, total war by any & all means until all humanity is serving Allah." So apparently this is what YOU think, apparently you take it for a fact! And what are you basing this view on? Just those same books? - I deny that. Yes, I also think that Muhammad, peace be upon him, was a perfect human being, but sadly we have no credible accounts left about him, his teachings and his life and those books about him which the Muslim clerics use were faked at least 160 years after his death. Following on from imacentristmoderate’s posts, it is important to note that the Moslem cult holds the following core belief governing its intention towards the rest of us (whom the Moslems regard as unbelievers or “Kafirs”):
There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet. It is binding on all followers of the cult that they base their lives on that of the murderous warlord Mohammed. Those who flock overseas to butcher male unbelievers and rape and enslave captured women, or who murder their betters on our own streets, are dutifully patterning themselves literally on their phoney “prophet”. Where civilised countries import Moslem Fifth Columns, they will persistently chip away at freedom, recruiting “dhimmis” to tansmit their message among the Kafir populations, concentrating on Kafirs who have the ear of Kafir compatriots. The intended outcome is slavery, even if it takes generations to enforce. The entire programme is well known, but the structure of their “holy books” precludes comprehension without extended, patient study. Fortunately many scholars have studied the books and boiled them down into comprehensible form. The result isn’t pretty. To get the gist of it I have downloaded from Amazon Kindle the short volume “ The Story of Mohammed” in which Harry Richardson outlines the history of Mohammed from desert banditry around Mecca and Medina to launching a war against unbelievers in ever-widening regions to the present day when it’s world-wide and embraces Australia. Richardson draws entirely on Moslem holy texts and on interpretations of Islamic scholars revered in the Moslem world. Anyone who believes sh/e knows enough about Islam not to need to look more deeply should download this book and devote an hour or two treading it critically. Can we stem the tide? Not if we listen uncritically to appeasers. I’ll follow up with some pointers to what it seems to me can be done. Posted by EmperorJulian, Wednesday, 21 October 2015 6:39:43 PM

Dear Julian,
There is no reason why Muslims should not follow their good prophet. The prophet was not phoney, only his history and teachings were completely faked in later generations by a bloodthirsty cult. The remedy is to show Muslims that in order to follow their beloved prophet they should stop looking at the books of that cult. Posted by Yuyutsu, Wednesday, 21 October 2015 7:09:18 PM

Yuyutsu, it's possble that Mohammed was succeeded by even worse Moslems - Abu Bakr seems to have led the continent-wide orgy of invasion, murder and enslavement that followed Mohammed's death. Yet there's the record of Moslems systematically slaughtering scores of Jews to entertain the "prophet" and his child bride Aisha as they made themselves comfortable and watched. The bloodshed went on all day. Not the sort we want as immigrants.
To get an idea of what Richardson's book is about, go to http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/19440419-the-story-of-mohammed-islam-unveiled and select [more] to continue the synopsis. It's an eye-opener that will specially disturb appeasers. Can this existential threat to decency in the free world be turned back? Well it's later than most people think. We should have jumped on Islam's finger when it first appeared under the door, and now its hands are reaching for our throats. Already, as Richardson reports, people in Australia are facing gaol for utterances which the Moslem juggernaut finds offensive. Significantly, truth is not an admissible defence. Appeasers should think about it! An actual challenge to Islamic tyranny and to Kafir dhimmitude (Google it) will start to turn the assault back. This new outfit, Australian Liberty Alliance, may have some promise. Geert Wilders not speaking cringing apologetics may help raise resistance as it has in Holland. Banning walking bodybags won’t help. Expelling Moslems en masse is not an option. But the migration laws could be amended to require that everyone entering Australia to declare that s/he will uphold the right of every person to choose or reject or leave a religion, to obey or disobey a religion’s prescriptions, to revere, question or openly deride anybody’s “holy” figure or symbol. Anyone who demonstrates later that his or her pledge wasn’t dinkum (e.g. taqiyya) to be kicked out of the country for good. And for the Syrian “refugees”, accept only Yazidis - there are 230 thousand of them. Posted by EmperorJulian, Wednesday, 21 October 2015 10:43:51 PM

//Yet there's the record of Moslems systematically slaughtering scores of Jews to entertain the "prophet" and his child bride Aisha as they made themselves comfortable and watched. The bloodshed went on all day. Not the sort we want as immigrants.//
Mere scores? In 1096, German Christians slaughtered thousands of Jews during the Rhineland massacres. In 1506, Portugese Christians tortured, murdered and burnt at the stake hundreds of people who were accused of being Jews (even though they had been forcibly converted to Christianity). Definitely not the sort we want as immigrants. Maybe we should only import atheists, pantheists and polytheists? Actually, scratch the polytheists: the Thuggee were polytheistic and they were probably the most murderous cult the world has ever seen*. Just atheists and pantheists then, although I'm sure one of our local Christian apologists will drop by shortly to remind us of all the people that the Godless commies murdered. So it looks like we don't get to have any immigrants, at least if we're to go around banning them for past atrocities committed by other members of their faith or lack thereof. Hmm, maybe not such a good basis for determining immigration policy... *Not in absolute terms, the Christians and Muslims probably both have them beat hands down, but the whole cult was explicitly devoted to the practice of cold-blooded murder. Interestingly, the British Raj did not round up and execute all Hindus for the crimes of the Thuggee; they just went after the Thuggee. Perhaps some of the people around here who are quick to condemn the whole religion for the actions of a minority of murderous nutjobs could learn a thing or two from the Raj's approach to the Thuggee problem. Dear Julian,
All those "records" are faked - from 'A' to 'Z'. Yes, there were Arab tribes and Jewish tribes and there were wars between them, but as Robert Spencer shows, the conquered tribes (including Jewish tribes) never heard the name "Muhammad" or "Islam" and were never asked to convert to anything. There are many archaeological records left from that period, but none of them suggests that Islam existed until at least 790 A.D. It's likely that Aisha didn't even exist, or if she did then she had no relation to Muhammad. Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 22 October 2015 12:33:25 AM

Yuyutsu, sorry but you are reading the wrong books. Spencer is wrong, he is trying to discredit Islam in a way that he thinks may work but he is wrong. Mohammed was around at a time when civilization was well advanced & there is mountains of credible sources to confirm his bloodthirsty ways. The bloodthirsty Imams who came after are following his example perfectly.
EmperorJulian, spot on, i have met Harry & we are putting a team of theologians together to further the initial work. Yuyutsu, Mohammed is a 100% evil false prophet all Muslims need do in order to follow God is convert to Christianity or Judaism. EmperorJulian, actually Mohammed in his early period had been trying to be Christian but the Pagan Arabs rejected him because they had nothing of their own & lived by stealing to survive. Look at their fairy tales Ali Baba & the 40 thieves, Sin-Bad the pirate. We could easily deport all Muslims tomorrow, just not en masse, slow steady repatriation is the best way because that way we can repair both Australia & the middle east. Toni Lavis, the Raj were conservative christian protesters that is why they had & still have the highest morals, ethics & principles in world history. Yuyutsu, sorry those records were not faked & are well corroborated. Mohammed tried to teach Christianity to the Pagan Arabs who enjoyed thievery too much, eventually he decided if you can't beat them join them. He incorporated professional criminality into Islam, became the most respected warlord in Arabia because he took less % rate of the booty for himself than the existing warlords. There is no honour among thieves so they all joined Mohammed's gang for the better pay. Posted by imacentristmoderate, Thursday, 22 October 2015 4:31:27 AM

Dear Imacentristmoderate,
I admit that I did not read the books you recommended - but Robert Spencer did read them all and many more, even in the original Arabic language which I presume you haven't. Robert Spencer dedicates his life to the critical research of Islam, I watched many of his videos, including when he debates with others about Islam, and I am convinced by his arguments. Therefore, while I find several faults in Islam as we know it today, I find no fault in Muhammad himself, peace be upon him, which would be rolling in his grave in agony had he been able to hear all these gruesome and false allegations attributed to him. It's plainly a case of identity theft! If you wish to continue this discussion, then you should address it to Robert Spencer instead. Posted by Yuyutsu, Thursday, 22 October 2015 7:36:06 PM

My gut feeling about Reclaim Australia is that it will repeat the Hanson phenomenal impact on federal politics, and one of our priorities should be to head it off at the pass.
One of the fatal aspects of weak Commonwealth government is the creation of nine Sovereign States within Australia. State taxation however clothed is an enormous burden, and it can only be attacked by restoring the Justice System, and Reclaiming Australia for its Christian majority. Government by lawyers for lawyers is not good government. It was not good government in the Roman Empire, and it is not good government in Australia. Since 1952 we have become a de-facto republic, without an effective Head of the State of the Commonwealth. The Head of State should be Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second representing Almighty God and if She is unwilling to do so then another should be found. We are de-facto nine Islamic Republics. That is why Reclaim Australia is so dangerous. Lawyers have formed a cartel, and both Turnbull and Bill Shorten are legally trained. That cartel should be smashed and good government restored. Islamic fanatics kill people wherever they can. Disagree and in many parts of the world, one does not live long. The most violent people in Australia are the Judges and Magistrates. They inflict terror in the name of the State on individuals. Pay our State Taxes ( fines, costs orders) or we will destroy you. We now have an army of Police and Sheriffs doing just that. I have sent to the Prime Minister what is needed to restore Australia to what the majority want. As Yamamoto warned Japan. Beware the sleeping tiger. The sleeping tiger in Australia is being galvanised by the atrocities of Islam, and that tiger is the majority Christian population. It could destroy both the Liberal Party and the Labor Party. By having Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second restored to Her Majesty, instead of being nine fictitious sovereigns, and impotent, the Prime Minister can head off Reclaim Australia and make us free again. I read somewhere that the shortfall was in the order of 175,000, the reality is that combined with the stage de-industrialisation of the continent the student visa scam has destroyed wages and conditions in traditionally immigrant friendly industries.
As a graduate or a person with technical skills why would you emigrate to earn $5 per hour in one of the most expensive cities on earth when you could stay in China or India and earn $2 per hour but where the cost of living is much, much less and you have your traditional family support networks to fall back on?
