In just seven short years, we have swapped and dropped our Prime Ministers no less than four times. If Tony Abbott had been dumped by his party earlier this year, we would have outstripped even Italy’s prime ministerial turnover rate.

An excellent article in this season of care for those less fortunate than ourselves - a vowel for the author please.

When all is said and done I see meself as the Men's Shed like bloke with the big hammer who nailed our Lord to the Cross. In the course of which I hit me thumb. Bugger!

I'm not after a government messiah, but I make no apologies for wanting good government. There are many problems that governments are best placed to fix, able to fix, but not willing to fix. But at the moment, more often than not, the government has the intention of doing things that will make them worse.

The first page of this essay was quite good.
The second page was unmitigated garbage!

"Australians today are in desperate search for a messiah." Wrong, just Pollies that take the job seriously.

As for the Christian message talk about not being able to deliver. Finally Easter message of renewal existed long before Christians co-opted it with their story about their sugar daddy in the sky.

Only the flying Spaghetti monster can save us, may his sauces flow over us.
