Be prepare for a meltdown tantrum when certain people read this.

Channel 9 poll backfires with Anning support at 77 per cent. ( Foxy remember on previous threads you implied the polls are a true representation of the peoples opinion and are to be taken as fact

Anning’s call for a referendum on immigration sends PM’s office into lockdown. Incredibly upset public support Anning on Channel 9 poll by 77 per cent

Senator Fraser Anning’s office and his Facebook pages have been overloaded by tens of thousands of supporters while Liberal sources say the Prime Minister’s office has gone into meltdown over abusive calls.

I guess that those on the left (social freedom) see many things conservative (social conservative/ economic conservative) as a Nazi conspiracy. The small L liberals (free market advocats) need the conservatives within their party to make the numbers. Hopefully the conservatives can soften some of the extremes of small L liberals.

Toni Lavis said- "At some point in life, on the road to maturity, one has to accept the simple and self-apparent fact that the other side of political fence are, for the most part, not suffering from any serious mental illness or personality disorder. They're just regular people... that you disagree with. Possibly because they're idiots, or dicks, or you just don't like the cut of their jib... but not actual monsters who should be locked away."

Answer- Generally I agree with this comment.

On the left there are the "feel good people/ do gooders" that are often mislead- they just want to do the right thing. The thing is doing the right thing is a difficult journey- and not well defined.

Most people see problems in the world- where the difficulty arises is how to solve it. This is where ideology arises. There is a subtle difference between ideology and philosophy.

Then there are the dangerous far left radical/ Trotskyites/ New Left/ Radical Progressives/ Communists- that understand what they do and how it affects society- but they just don't care about the average person. These dangerous communists believe that millions of dead are a necessary sacrifice to achieve utopia. Such people could actually be "monsters".

Strangely I've seen Communists use polymorphic tactics of different movements- such as guilt (used by the church). Even if I can't respect their aims I have to respect their sophistication.

I once met a heroin addict who said that there are functional and non-functional addicts. Liberalists are perhaps the functional friends of the Communist. You could argue that everyone is addicted to some ideology- some subtlety is perhaps required here.

Foxy/Paul please cut me some slack here, I remain convinced racism is always evil
And too just as convinced it exists on both sides of this debate
Some by association, heap some of that blind hate on us, the three of us, because we defend most of the targeted people
We too know
Know for sure, only a very few, from the race/faith under attack, are in any way a problem
Include that statement for those we call racists
BUT here is when I get controversial
The few, on both sides, damage the many, on their side and the other
I have never understood why multi culture replaced integration
So in an effort to take the hate out of our country
Why can we not while keeping multi cultures ask that both sides openly admit the very real damage such as the few, in this case be honest, few South Sudanese youths, are [as every race has] damaging the whole

//Then there are the dangerous far left radical/ Trotskyites/ New Left/ Radical Progressives/ Communists//

Jesus, still banging on about reds under the bed in 2019? It's times like this I wish OLO let one do the eye rolling emoji.

To paraphrase Nietzsche, Marx is dead. The Socialist Equality Party contend election after election; they've yet to win a single seat. Empirically, there is sweet FA support for communism among the voting public.

But hey, why let empirical data stand in the way of a half-baked theory? Yes, Canem Malum, there is a Santa Claus. And he wears red...

I wonder if some of the apologists could explain why those who stand up to criminal racists are called racists by the apologists ?
