Answer- I would have thought that correlating Morrison with Confucism was a criticism rather than praise given that Mao Communists tried to destroy Confucism as a competing ideology. Despite the Communist parties mouthpiece "The Confucius Institute". But I'd need to see the articles context.

The Confucius institute has been going into Australian schools and getting them to sing the Chinese Communist National Anthem.

Confucius believed that the family is the atom of society- in contradiction to the nihilist Communists.

I think Taiwanese are ethnically, genetically and somewhat culturally Chinese even if they are not of Chinese nationality. They both eat Paul1405's "Short Soup" perhaps. It's fascinating that the left will deny the existence of nations and ethnicity when it suits themselves.

It appears that Japanese are related to Korean's genetically and 5% of Japan is apparently Korean. Japanese tend to have longer torso's than Korean's probably due to the interbreeding with native tribes after migration thousands of years before. Asian's have the distinctive Eye Fold as well as other traits that mark them as belonging to the genetics of the Chinese diaspora which seems to be the root power of the region historically- which is probably why it's known as the middle kingdom.
