On sexual confusion, Boris Johnson has had the guts to say that men claiming to be women should not be competing in women's sport. Say what you like about Boris, he doesn't beat about the bush like our lot, who won't even defend their own candidate in Warringah, Katherine Deves, with her no BS attitude to sexual appropriation.

The PM supported her, but not the Minister for WOMEN, Marise Payne, whose presence in any parliament is a complete mystery, and who should be put last on the Senate ticket by voters in whichever state she infests. The Coalition allowed a great female operator to be driven out - Nicolle Flint, whose seat of Boothy will almost certainly go to Labor - but they keep rewarding a dud like Payne with ministries that she is incapable of administering.

I said that the PM had supported Deves. Well, yes he did, but he quickly cowered in the face of left-wing screeching about Deves' alleged "Nazi slurs" and "bigoted" comments. He was pleased that she had apologised - unnecessarily - and squeaked that the Bill to Save Women's Sports was a private members bill, and nothing to do with the government.

How can we trust such a ducking and dodging man?

The "party of free speech" has also had Deves' Facebook and Twitter accounts deleted.

The man who would have still been our PM, if not for Turnbull and Morrison, supports her, unlike two misplaced (party-wise) wet Liberals Bragg and Kean who want her disendorsed, for honestly speaking her mind.

Australia is in a terrible position, with most of our current politicians really not fit for office.

Someone said a problem can't be solved at the level of the problem- must go deeper- to the underlying principles. The Coalition has a crisis of principles.

Unlike citizens in many countries Australians can go
ahead about their daily lives without having to worry
about who they'll have to pay a bribe to
to receive basic services or that money that should be
used for services will find its way into the pockets
of politicians.

However it is concerning that trust in our politicians
and institutions seems to be declining for some
Australians because trust is fundamental to our
functioning as a society.

Mistrust also send a note of caution to those likely to
invest in Australia.

Our political history is littered with unsavoury events.
No party has been exempt. The standard reply has been -
"No rules have been broken," and that is not good enough.

What is needed is a better commitment to integrity from
the top. We need not just codes of conduct within
government agencies but we need leaders who call out bad
behaviour.

Striving for better standards must be done at the highest
levels and there must be a better way of holding our
leaders to account.

Therefore we should have a national integrity agency that
will have a demonstrated commitment to raising the bar.

We need this because trust in all level of government
appears to be down and it is interesting that support for
an integrity commission appears to be the greatest among those
who have worked in federal government.

That speaks volumes.

An integrity commission is commendable Foxy. It would be a busy place with a lacklustre pm, and for Albo I think that he could be that if he tried hard enough. No, what we need more than an integrity commission is a feasibility commission. For example, there are so many garbage claims for renewable energy and the hydrogen economy. I read the alp and greens spouting about them like they are proven technologies. Sri Lanka is in a total mess atm because their pollies thought that they knew better than the soil scientists and decided that they could go organic and dispense with chemical fertilizers. Australia could face a few problems if it continues its foray into renewable energy.
