Yes, they can and do frighten me about the steps they might take against me and my family should they discover that I or them have COVID, but not about the virus itself.

One danger cannot cancel the other, they both exist and are both dangerous - the virus and the government.

You wrote that you believe that the death of my friend was hushed up: I have no reason to believe that was the case and I understand that her family visited her in hospital, but I know that she deteriorated quickly and was dead in two weeks after having the first symptoms, and that the doctors said that they never encountered such a case before of someone dying so quickly of COVID.
Are you possibly suggesting that her death, and others' was not a natural death due to COVID, but actually a murder? or that perhaps she is not dead at all, but was made to disappear and is secretly held up somewhere in order to try to scare the rest of us? Perhaps they even placed a plastic doll in her coffin instead of her corpse?

Yuyutsu as I said I do not want to comment on the death of a friend of yours but now the official stats say less than 100 people died just of Covid so there it is. You admit to fear of what the government can do? Thank you I am frightened of the fascist scum in charge of us also.
The facts are still Covid was the same as Sars yet here we are in horrendous debt, the economy ruined and us being bashed and shot by the Government. At what stage will you grow a spine and admit your fear and ensure voting out every sitting politician? That is the only answer.

I never denied my fear of government, any government. This whole concept as if some people can legitimately govern others without their consent is evil, not just this politician or the other and not just during the pandemic - before and after too. Such behaviour is violence, states and their governments are predators, so it is only natural to fear them.

That said, people ought to be able to defend themselves against diseases. When someone approaches you with a virulent and contagious germ or virus, you may take reasonable steps to stop them coming too near.

The tragedy is that governments forcefully appropriated our abilities to self-defend, allowing only themselves to exercise these natural powers.

Under the circumstances, when the pandemic came, someone should have somehow stopped the virus, and sadly it was government. While I disapprove of the government's very existence as well as of certain particular draconic and totally-immoral and unnecessary measures that it took during its emergency declaration, I do not disapprove of the fact as a whole that it acted to stop/control the virus, in fact I think that in some areas it didn't protect us well enough and should have done more. Obviously the best would be if government never existed so we would be free to protect ourselves.

You mentioned SARS: that virus killed 9.5% of those infected. Fortunately it was not as infectious as COVID because it was only transmitted through short-range coarse droplets, rather than by long-range fine particles like COVID.

The current dominant strain of COVID is not too virulent, but if the virus is allowed to spread, then it could be just a matter of time before variants emerge that are as virulent as SARS, perhaps even more like certain strains of Ebola that kill 90% of those infected. We simply cannot afford this, this virus needs to be eliminated; and sadly again that was started by governments rather than by us; and sadly again, the governments gave in to the virus and never completed that task. Now we still have governments AND still have the virus :-(

This is just another hoax that idiots like you swallow hook, line and sinker. I am fed up with your fear because the vaccines have never, ever worked they are a total nonsense. Corrupt doctors tell you they will make you better and you believe them, what hope is there for you?

Indeed, I stay in a way figuratively "under my bed" these days until the pandemic is over. That's the best way to hit back at the politicians, because all they care about is their "economy", so if they do not allow me to properly protect myself from the virus and get my life back then they too will not have their "economy" - let it crash!

I am happy to leave you alone - it was you who approached me to begin with, accusing me of obedience and compliance with government (which we commonly hate). I only responded in order to clear my name of these accusations.

Rather than listening to the government's doctors, I do MORE than they recommend. I would get MORE vaccines, once a month if I could freely obtain them, I wear a KN95 mask everywhere, not just indoors and I avoid many risky places even while nothing in their law prevents me from going there.

I believe that the vaccines do work to a certain extent, but regardless whether or not they do, the problem ought to be solved by closing the borders and practicing a strict lockdown until the virus is completely eliminated - that is the only way we can finally get rid of the government and its horrific emergency declarations.
