So now with the highest local infection rate ever in Oz the Victorian lockdown is over.

Obviously Dan went too far when he took on the builders labourers, & has been sat on. Now the ineffectual vaccines are showing their worth, but Dan will still enforce them. Just watch the infection rate sore, vaccine or no vaccine.

It would be just so funny if it weren't for the bankruptcies, lost careers & the destroyed lives. There won't be many kids named Dan for a while. Who wants to christen their kid with a dirty word.

Hassy, nothing to say about New South Wales fiasco, or Morrisons shambolic vaccine roll-out. How about a word on the outstanding job done by the Palaszczuk government in controlling the virus in Queensland. Hummm, Nothing to see there.

Technically I should be wearing it more now than ever, but I've now resigned myself to the fact that its government policy to curatil my rights, send the nation broke and now deliberately infect me with a virus of foreign origin.

A question heard last night: if Victoria can open up on a day when there were over a thousand 'new cases', why did they shut down a few months ago when there were only 8 cases.

Possibly because more Victorians are being vaccinated
and are obeying the rules for the sake of themselves,
their families and the community and are now close to
having reached full vaccination. Also not everything
is opening up in Victoria. Not yet. But Victorians
are on target with the Premier's "road map."

You really do present as thick so bloody often.

We have moved to the transition phase now. It is not the infection rate that was the main concern now but the impact on hospitals.

My local Shire has a 96% first dose rate and a 78% second dose.

The major hospital near us has shelved all elective surgery until Christmas and directed staff to take leave before the surge in cases.

That surge is already coming from selfish buffoons who haven't vaccinated due to bloody mindedness and only 7% of those entering hospital are double vaxxed.

At your age there is about a 1-6 chance of you dying but more importantly a 63% chance you will end up in hospital and a 21% you will require an ICU bed. Your length of occupation of that bed will be between 8 and 13 days on average.

The decision of you and others of your ilk means people in the community, a significant number of them is high levels of pain, are having to wait so to cater for your selfishness.
