Hi Paul,
ttbn doesn't seem to know that it is entirely possible to disagree with both self-proclaimed nationalists and those deemed anti-nationalists. Both right-wing and left-wing hardcores. Both ultra-religious people and atheists. Both multiculturalists and anti-multiculturalists. Both pro-immigrationists and anti-immigrationists. It's called "thinking for yourself." It gives you an identity. It is a highly pleasurable experience. It involves getting involved with people with different viewpoints. Perhaps it would do him good to try it. Yes they do seem to ttbn.
Foxy is trying to present herself in the moderate position- I've learned there is a fallacy in this position in that it seems to be defined by the noisy extreme. Positions that were considered moderate in the times of our grand parents are now defined as extreme. The masses seem to adopt what they see as a middle position for safety and to avoid conflict- but this position isn't safe because it's defined by the noisiest extremists. If what "the masses" see- through the media favours a left position- and all that "the masses" read and watch is the media and movies created by the same people- then "the masses" will adopt a leftist view. It isn't only news media but also the unrealistic situations and morals "acted out" in sitcoms and movies will be normalised in the minds of the masses. This is why totalitarian communists always seek to control the eye balls of the masses. Control their eyes- control their minds- control their lives. Sigmund Freud's nephew Edward Bernays famously brought consumer culture from Germany to the US by using the science of psychology against society rather than in the service of society. Little wonder that society is showing signs of sickness. This feature of politics has been studied under the term of the "Overton Window"- it's been recognised that politics has moved far from our grand parents times- this is not in our interest. Perhaps a safer position is to adopt the position that their grand parents and ancestors would have held- at least in private- if they don't want to research the real issues- and to say to communist sea lions that they don't discuss politics- if pushed. To do otherwise is to put your family at risk. Russian dissident Yuri Bezmenov says (paraphrasing) "propaganda can only effect you if you let in foreign ideas"- this doesn't mean that you don't change as a community- but it changes to the communities internal needs- and to keep the community together Posted by Canem Malum, Wednesday, 13 October 2021 5:28:30 AM

Communism isn't about equality it's about power- they don't believe in separation of powers- don't believe in the Westminster System- don't give them your power.
Everybody needs to re-evaluate their own leftism by exposing themselves to other views before it's too late. Main stream parties and all leaders must cull their left factions to regain trust with the masses- leadership is about trust. Don't let yourself get sucked "down the memory hole". "Those that control the present- control the past- control the future." Orwell. Posted by Canem Malum, Wednesday, 13 October 2021 5:29:07 AM

CM, you have declared on this forum that I am a Communist, I perceive myself as a moderate progressive socialist willing to accommodate reform in a liberal democracy, the label is unimportant. I find these left/right labels, blame the French for that, as mostly meaningless. You seem to be one who puts great store in labelling others, do you have a label for yourself? Do you see yourself as a counter to the "far left", someone from the "far right" maybe? Are you beyond all that, and simply see yourself as an intellectual observer above all that humdrum political nonsense conducted by the riff-raff below.

Hi Paul,
"Blind allegiance to conventional beliefs about right and wrong. Respect for submission to acknowledged authority. Belief in aggression towards those who do not subscribe to conventional thinking or who are different..."
