Victorians have suffered the most lockdowns and biggest loss of freedoms in the world over something that 99.7% of people who get it survive. But, there appears to be no opposition party, and not a peep from the myriad of organisations that sport the words "human rights" in their names. Still, what can you expect from the same mob that persecuted and jailed the innocent Cardinal Pell. Victoria is the North Korea of the Antipodes.

shadowminister,

Still a fan of Dan here and a big plus is that he isn't the subject of a corruption investigation forcing his resignation.

Don't need any investigation, Andrews should be out on his communist ear for his attempt at the China Belt and Road Initiative.

Kudos ttbn- A wonder if Foxy's confidence in "Dandrews" will confirm her view at the election- as it did in 2016- many have little confidence in surveys. It's interesting how many people choose to vote "no comment" at these surveys either by just avoiding those with clip boards or hanging up their phones and on which sides they are prevalent- sadly they don't seem to provide these figures.

There are trolls on both the left and right- trolling is a tool in the toolbox to influence people- it's just part of debating and Rhetoric- Plato wrote a book on it.

Political Compass / Spectrum gives some insight here.

Also interesting.

They should lock down Australia's borders- it appears the Victorian Premier has finally taken my advise by building a quarantine facility down the road from the airport- too little too late however.

Warren Mundine compares Covid restrictions with the nonsense indigenous Australians had to put up with under the Aborigines Protection Act 1909 (NSW).

Until he was a teenager, Warren lived under the control of bureaucrats who micro-managed Aboriginal lives under the guise of ‘protection and care’, and treated aboriginal people like children, not to be trusted to take care of themselves or make their own decisions.

He now says, "I don’t want to live my remaining decades under even more stringent controls, imposed by even less compassionate bureaucrats, all under the guise of public health".

I suppose now Dan Andrews is responsible for Berejiklian resigning today?

Better news, there are rumblings about recent polling showing the potential of the Libs falling off a cliff in Victoria losing key Melbourne electorates; the Vic LNP can thank NewsCorp, lesser extent 9Fairfax and 7WM?

Again, the LNP, Independents, Palmer, miners and NewsCorp will need to throw the kitchen sink at QLD voters to at least stop them voting Labor....
